THE HOSTESS WITH MOSTEST! I have done some travelling and would like to offer hospitality to my guests. Come and be a part of my family and my beautiful city ROTORUA, GEYSER LAND!
If I have free time it would be my pleasure to be your personal guide and show you my marae (Maori Villiage) right in the heart of my beautiful city and other attractions you will love. And... they are all FREE!
The price shown is for two guests each night. Extra guests will be an additional $20 per night.
I have clothes washing facilities which you can use.
Washing clothing will be an additional cost of $5.00 per load.
Drying clothing in the dryer will be an additional cost of $5.00 per load. Both of these cost are to cover power consumption and laundry liquid. Using a laundromat will cost you in the facinity of $15 to $20 dollars not to mention the inconvenience of lugging washing around town.
If you wish to do washing let me know as soon as possible so it can be done first thing. Please do not try to use the washing machine without me there to assist.
There is a supermarket a few hundred meters away where you can buy groceries if you would like to cook you have full use of the kitchen.
I live close to Kuirau Park which is a fantastic and FREE natural thermal park with a walking track through thermal mud and steam pools. On Saterday mornings there is a fabulous market with fresh produce and fresh kiwi cooked kai (food) plus other cuisines. A great way to spent Saterday morning. My Marae of origin is Ohinemutu which is situated on the lake front. It's a beautiful Marae. From kuirau park you can walk or drive to Ohinemutu then walk the track along the lake front around to Sulphur Point pop into our museum which was a bath house back in its day. And from there your options are endless.
I must warn you. There is a lot to do her in Rotorua so depending on your interests and what you want to do while your here make sure you give yourselves adequate time to do as much as you can!
Don't worry I will help you as much as I can!
Love to meet you and share my home and town with you!
Thank you for your time
