You have a short term vacation rental property that we personally take care of and do the cleanings ourselves. You have spectacular views from each window, wildlife on property, 1.78 acres of outdoors space, and location close to the Rocky Mountain National Park (1.5 miles) and Estes Town(1.5 miles). You have access to 1.78 acres of open space with rock out-cropping around the property for kids to explore and play. Note the property extends about 80 feet in front, and about 60 feet behind. Note the property lines and be cautious not to stray into the neighbors property

Q. What are the new rules for Estes Park Rentals
A. Estes Park is becoming strict in their rental rules for vacation rentals. Guests are required to list all members who rent the cabin. Please do so in the notes or comments section while you book. The number of guests are limited to six (6) and parking to one (1) vehicle.
Q. What are the strict house rules for this home
Loose garbage is fined. You need to put garbage in large 2 black garbage bags at the end of the rental. These are Estes park waste management rules and not ours. They will fine us and we will be forced to transfer the fine to your security deposit.
There is a leave as you found it policy except for Linens. You will be charged a $120 fine plus $30/hr for any cleaning that is in excess of 3hr cleaning. If you are not prepared to clean the home after you leave during your vacation, please find alternate accommodations.
Guests can enjoy within property lot lines. There is no trespassing in neighboring lots. Quiet time is after 9 pm.
Q. When is check-in and Check-out?
A. Check-in is 3:00pm. Checkout is 10:00am. NO Early check-ins or late check-outs without prior permission.
Q. Do you allow pets or smoking?
A. Pets and smoking are NOT allowed
Q. How close is the home to Rocky Mountain National Park(RMNP) and the town of Estes Park?
A. The home is approximately 2 miles away from RMNP entrance and 3 miles from the town of Estes Park.
Q. How will I get the keys?
A. We have a lock box with a key pad to the left of the door. Once your stay is confirmed through airbnb you should be able to get the access code to the lock box as well as detailed directions through our listing at airbnb. If not, please contact us, and we can email them to you.
Q. Are linens and towels provided or do I need to bring my own?
A. No need to bring your own linens and towels. We will be providing fresh linens and towels at the beginning of your stay.
Q. Is there a stocked kitchen? How close is the nearest store or shopping center ?
A. Yes, the kitchen is fully stocked and we encourage you to cook your own meals unless, of course, cooking isn’t your ideal vacation activity. Our town also has many restaurants to choose from. The Country Market Store is down Marys Lake Road and less than a mile away
Q. Is there internet access and cable?
A. Yes, we have high speed wireless internet throughout our entire house. Each room is equipped with cable and flat screen TV's. DVD players are also provided.
Q. Is there daily housekeeping service?
A. There is NO daily housekeeping service. We keep our cabins very clean, and ask that you maintain them during your stay. We have a "leave it as you found it" cleaning policy. Guests may be charged an extra $120 if the cleaning takes more than 3 hrs to tidy after your stay.
Q. Is there air conditioning and washer -dryer? Is there a blow dryer and iron?
A. There is no air conditioning as it is very rarely needed. It becomes very cool at night and sleeping is always comfortable. Daytime is also comfortable as long as the blinds are down during peak sun into the cabin. There is a washer-dryer in the cabin. There is a blow dryer and iron in the cabinet under the bathroom sink.
Q. Is the cabin secluded?
A. The cabin is outside the hustle and bustle of town, located on a small dirt road. It is spaced far from other cabins and homes, and though you can see them, we have almost two acres and you do not feel "close" to them.
Q. How is road access?
A. During summer 4 wheel or all wheel drive is not necessary. During snowy months it is as we are up a hill.
Q. What is the cabin elevation?
A. The cabin is no higher than Estes park, which is at 7500 ft. One needs to be stay hydrated and get acclimatized before you go on long hikes up the Rocky Mountains.
Q. How many guests are allowed and how many vehicles are allowed?
A.Only 6 guests are allowed and two vehicles are allowed at vacation rental properties as per Estes Park Renting Law.

The security deposit is refundable as per the terms
1. This cabin accommodates SIX (6) guests. It is illegal to accommodate more than SIX (6) guests. Renters are not allowed to exceed the number of guests as per Estes Park Rental Authority.
2. PARKING – Parking is limited to TWO (2) vehicles. Vehicles are to be parked in designated parking areas only. Parking on the road is not permitted.
3. This cabin is an owner operated cabin business. We, the owners, clean the cabin for guests and ensure guests get the best rental experience at an economical rate. There is no extra cleaning fee typically charged by rental companies. However, there is "a leave as you found it condition policy" for the cabin except for linens.
(a) If it takes more than 3 hours to clean, you will be charged an extra fee of $120 that will be taken out of your security deposit.
(b) No damage is done to cabin or its contents, beyond normal wear and tear.
( c) No charges are incurred due to contraband, pets or collection of rents or services rendered during the stay.
(d) The cabin is located where bears seek garbage for food. All debris, rubbish and discards are placed in refuse containers outside, with a maximum of 3 large black garbage bags per rentals of a week or less. The maximum of 3 bags and "no loose garbage in garbage container" policy is enforced by Estes Park Waste Management and not by us. Please clip the can shut as bears will open it otherwise.
Fires and Torches not allowed not the deck
Quiet time is 9 pm to 8 am.
Please do not use anything containing oil in the Jacuzzi tub. Please only use the appropriate cleaner on the stove top as it is a glass top stove. Do not leave anything containing oil on the granite counter-top, it will darken and discolor it.
Use anything in the cabin that you would like except the small cabinet above the stairs going to the kitchen (it is just our toiletries, etc.), the condiments are no more than 2 months old in the refrigerator so please use them if you would like.
We have equipped the cabin with hot chocolate, coffee and a powdered hot cider mix for your enjoyment.
