My family of four just rented this unit with another family of four and the size and location is perfect. Overall I think I would give our stay at the condo a 9, it would have been a 10 if we could have access to the “kids club” (no matter what is said to you this is not possible, we offered to pay hourly even at an insane price and the resort would not allow it. They said for insurance reasons they could only let guests who are staying as all-inclusive hotel guests could get access). This was a big disappointment for us, Carlos really led us to believe that it was a possibility. There are three large bedrooms and a small one that is perfect for kids (the fourth room would be disappointing if adults had to stay in it). It was the perfect combo of being at a resort and having our own space. The resort has fun activities during the day and at night but unless you buy a daypass there is really no food options at night or in the morning, during the day from 11-5 there is a pool bar that has very good tacos and ceviche. The condo is at a prime location on the bottom floor right next to the middle (warm) pool but not in a way that random people are walking by it shares a pathway with one neighbor.
Carlos helped us find someone that would come clean and cook for us and she was great. This really made it feel like a true vacation because I did not need to prep or clean the dinner and she was a great cook. She made us salads, guacamole, fresh salsa, pazole, tortas, and tostadas. I would really recommend using her.
I am already trying to plan the next trip but the only thing that is holding me back is the kids club thing. Not to say that this is not kid friends because my girls 4 and 6 had an amazing time but in my point of view kids club gives parents and kids a much needed break on vacation. My girls were actually sad that they weren’t able to go.
Overall I would recommend this place and I am already planning another trip down to Puerto Vallarta and would love to stay here again.
