•Indian Cove Trail takes you to the Marina. Located a short distance north of the Clubhouse on the west side of the street.
•Nature Trail is located a little further down Pointes Drive West. Look for the sign on your left. Be sure to pick up the laminated nature guide. This is a one-mile trail that ends up at the rope swing at the North Beach.
•Lagoon Trail is the closest to our house. Go down Barnacle Blvd., turn right onto Pointes Drive East. The trailhead is on your right just passed Nantucket Drive. This takes you to the South Beach.
•Upper Trail is one of the prettiest walks along the cliffs of the South Beach. To get there, walk along Pointes Drive East until you see a big green electrical box on the right. It’s next to the stairs leading to the beach.
The Beaches: There are 3 1/2 miles of private beach that belongs to the homeowners association and at any given time you can almost have the beach to yourself.
It has become a summertime tradition at the Pointe is to take your picnic and barbecues to the Spit and enjoy the beautiful vistas and sunset. After dark, you can also have a bonfire and roast marshmallows.
There are four public covered barbecue areas and clean restrooms.
Indian Cove Marina: A great place for owners to keep their boats or for the kids to go fishing or searching for sea creatures. Also a favorite hangout for our neighborhood sea lions.
