My place is close to the Allgäu mountains, lake Grüntensee, Neuschwanstein (approx. 30mins by car). You’ll love my place because of the small village setting, the view of the mountains from your window, the lovely hosts.
We are a little bit off the beaten track so if that appeals to you we are the perfect place to stay for you.
Our house was originally built as a family home for the owner of a large timber works business. It was built in 1900. In 1905 the railway came to our village and was built right next to the house as the owner benefited from it big time. So the railway still runs right next to our house, and because of an open level crossing it also honks twice an hour.

Hello, I'm a former world traveller now turned partner of a scotsman and mum-of-two with a small guesthouse in southern Bavaria. Once my goal in life was to see as much of the world as possible now it's to raise my girls to become responsible, well-balanced adults...Backpacking was a lot easier *grin*.
I enjoy reading (if I have a quiet half hour) and if work allows getting out and about with Gordon and my little ones.
As at the moment I can't visit other countries I'm looking forward to have lots of international guests! So come and see us in our little corner of Germany, who knows what you may find...
