Brian and family were excellent hosts. Brian assisted us with checking in, using the tractor to transport our things down to the site and a fire was already lite... The camper was an experience to remember... So much rain, that I thought we would get wet inside (some water sweat through the canvas). Double check the weather report prior to camping. We are new to camping... It rained most of the time and so we did not get a chance to enjoy the farm or the outdoors. Beautiful though... Brian suggested a children's museum, which was a great idea for the girls, when it was raining. When it was not raining our girls enjoyed greeting the animals (turkey, sheep, chicken, and the rabbit was their favorite)! This was a good first our family (2 toddlers and parents)!

First off, Brian was an awesome host. Very kind, generous, and welcoming. To call his homestead property beautiful would be an understatement. We stayed in the camper for two nights over a long weekend. It was situated on the edge of the property. The flowers, farm animals, and natural beauty of Vermont were on full display. I would honestly struggle to find a negative aspect of this stay. Brian was very generous with his time. Whether asking questions or making small talk with the kids. He was close by if we needed anything, but gave us plenty of privacy. Just an all around nice guy. Brian built camp fires for us both nights. He allowed us to pick and graze fresh blueberries, raspberries, peas, and mulberries. He even picked us a couple bags for the long ride home. He also picked some beautiful flowers for us to take home. We would love to stay here again next trip to Vermont. Great camping experience. Some quiet time in nature away from the city was good for the whole family. Just bring some food, water, lanterns and enjoy the relaxation. I highly recommend this off the grid destination. Thanks again Brian!

I'm a seasoned Airbnb traveler and I have to say that this camping experience was fantastic. Hope was very welcoming. They invited us to have fresh blueberries and cream with them but we were full from just having dinner and desert down in town. When I went up to their house for something they offered me a taco (which looked and smelled really good). Brian got a fire going for us and his wife made up the beds in the camper with fresh/clean sheets and lots of warm blankets. I slept like a baby! The other posts from previous visitors were spot on. These folks are super nice and the farm is beautiful. I hope to return again soon.

This place is such a great find!! I can only imagine that its low price is because it's a little far out? It was well worth the trip and expense. This place has all of the basics for your stay. Just bring food and drinks. If you like to have a little more luxury.. I would suggest bringing camp chairs for the fire (which already have plenty of benches) and some bedding. They provide blankets and pillows that were certainly sufficient though. Our party included my brother, his girlfriend, my boyfriend and myself. We also brought our old lab and submissive Australian Shepard. They have lots of animals, so if your animals have a hard time with all of the excitement, it may be a little too much. Brian very graciously offered we put the Shepard (who is very excitable) in a separate fenced in area if he couldn't handle it all. Brian was awesome! He came down and enjoyed the campfire with us. He was even so generous as to offer some of his own food! He was present and warm when we were around, but let us have some room when we were down by the camper. Perfecto! Two other campers from Canada joined us around 8:30pm. It was a comfortable environment all around. Lots of fun and I'd suggest to anyone!

Brian was a great host. Very welcoming and he made sure our stay went very smoothly. When we arrived he had a campfire going and made sure that we got settled in ok.

We felt most welcomed at Brian's, even given the short notice given to them of our arrival. It met all our expectations and more.

Terri & Brian have a lovely farm. Although Brian was away for the length of the stay, Terri was very sweet and accommodating. The camper is in the back of the farm and we spent many hours relaxing in the sun and visiting the animals. Our stay gave us a real peak into the life of homesteading. They have everything you need for an off the grid experience. Not to mention, an outdoor shower which we enjoyed with the summer light on our skin as it shone through the grape leaves growing above and around it. We had a wonderful time. A nice "break from it all". Any experienced camper would be missing out if they didn't stay a night here. If we are in the area again we would definitely try to stay with them. Their three labs are were the first to welcome us as we pulled into the driveway. We bonded with the pups and will have fond memories of our stay for years to come.
