À propos de ce logement
My home is close to the San Jose airport (15m), parks, and public transport. You’ll love it because of the location, unexpected convenience, and comfort. The neighborhood is good for solo adventurers and business travelers.
BleuHaus is a large two story family home, with living spaces on the second floor due to Alviso's geography (the lowest point in town is 13ft below sea level).
The guest rooms are up front on the street side of the house. Each room has sliders and a large operable window. The room is furnished with a queen sized bed, dresser, shelf unit, and a large closet.

The house is open for your use, you will share with me in the common areas (kitchen, laundry room, dining library, family room, powder room). There is also a deck front and rear with stairs to ground level access. Rear guest room and master are off limits.

I will in most cases be in residence outside of work hours while you are here. I'll make myself available for check-in, check-out as needed, and can provide recommendations for all local services, amenities, day trips, etc.
As a former r, Ex-, and current er, as well as being a technical program manager - I've been to most of the watering holes, restaurants, and assorted team style hangouts, so feel free to ask.
When I'm not around - text is best!! Email next best.
Alviso is a small working class neighborhood that used to the port of San Jose. It's a family area - and my landlord lives right next door. The area is gentrifying quickly and many are discovering how convenient it is to many things in the south bay - without the inconvenience of getting on 101 or 880.
Car is simplest - and there is parking available on and off street. There is public transit in the neighborhood (bus in 2 blocks, light rail about 1.5m walk, easy if not instantaneous Uber), and accomadation can be made for bikes if you wish to bring one. There are plentiful bike trails in the vicinity if you aren't wholly comfortable riding on the street.
- Smoking permissible on patio with approval of resident or other quests.
- Extra guest or guests allowable with pre approval. This is my home - I reserve the right to understand who is in it.

Hi there - nice to meet you! Says Rebecca - I go by Bink with friends.
I'm a 20 year veteran of the tech world with a comfortable niche in my little pocket neighborhood after a lot of bouncing around the world on business and fun. I spent 4 years living in Ireland - and still miss it like crazy - and left with a huge collection of friends all over Europe and Asia, as well as the States. My jaunting days have slowed down a lot - and the Bay Area is base camp.
I cook (sometimes a little sometimes a lot)
I read (mystery, fantasy, sci-fi - see the pic of the dining library)
I bike (ALC 2014, trying to average about 100m/wk these days)
I compute (surf and what little TV that finds me - no TVs in the house)
And fuss on my house - slightly frustrated Martha Stewart (TM)
And I'm in the process of setting up a wood shop for myself. I'm tired of looking at furniture I don't respect and prices that make my eyes cross.
I'm new to AirBnB - but I'm the one in the gang who helps you set up your guest room, recommends the good resto or bar, or hotel, and who creates elegant, easy, comfortable. I'm easy going but work hard during the week, so generally will look to get you happy and independent.
Looking forward to meeting you!
