The famous Donkey Sanctuary in Sidmouth is 6 miles away, and Pecorama Pleasure Gardens, offering train rides and spectacular views, is half a mile up the road. Further afield, try your hand at fossil hunting along the Jurassic Coast, with Charmouth, Eype and Chesil beaches all within 25 miles of home.
