This apartment was perfect for us as we needed a place to stay close to my son in Cambridge whose place is too small to accommodate 4 extra people. That being said I think the area has plenty to see and do even if you aren’t simply driving in for a 1st birthday party! I felt it was even larger than the pictures show...roomy and comfortable. We didn’t do much cooking there because we had other plans but the kitchen cooking area though small is well equipped to make meals. It was great to be able to park a car which is so difficult in the Boston area. It is so close to MIT and Havard it seems the perfect place for families to stay while visiting their college students and not breaking the bank at a hotel! We would not hesitate to recommend this place and have given the info to my son in case they ever have out of town guests again.

The neighborhood was nice. The images match the apartment but what the images didn’t show was an apartment that had not been properly cleaned. It was almost as though they weren’t expecting us or didn’t care. My family arrived late at night to a dirty dusty apartment. The stovetop was filthy so any desire to use it for cooking was gone. The towels were thread bare and there was dust and dander in the apartment. My 10 yr old nephew immediately began to cough and sneeze and he ended up not being able to stay in the apt, he had to stay on campus with me. The other adults were coughing and their allergies kicked in by the last night of the stay. The host/agent sounded empathetic but not enough to do something about the situation. From her response it was obvious she wasn’t going to do anything to remedy the situation.

Place was good: large and comfortable, easy to get in to, well located. One of the bed frames wasn't functional, which wasn't a problem for me since I only needed one bedroom, but it would've been good to know about this ahead of time. Place was clean but not spotless, all in all a very good but not perfect experience. Great essentials: shampoo, soap, ironing board, hangers, more so than typical. Would stay again!

Alissa, who was looking after Dhruva's apartment, was really welcoming and kind. The apartment size is nice, and its location is right by cambridge street. You take the bus to Harvard sq or the green line, or walk to the red line. Also, if you plan to cook, there is a plenty of spices!

I am a fourth year medical student from Columbia University in New York City. I will be applying for residencies in Internal Medicine/Psychiatry. I enjoy reading, playing tennis, and spending time with friends to relax.
I am now a second year resident in Internal Medicine at Yale New Haven Hospital. I still have the same interests as above, and hope to work in global health policy after I graduate both here and abroad!
I look forward to meeting many of you AirBnB'ers on my travels, both for work and for pleasure.
