This is going to be a long note, but the gist of it is that not only is this place a lovely, cozy apartment situated in a great location across the bay from Kotor (not that far though), but Marija and her family are the most amazing hosts you could possibly ask for.
First, the place: I stayed in the apartment with two twin beds, which were plenty comfortable. The kitchen is equipped with glassware, plates and utensils, as well as hot plates to cook on if you feel the desire to stay in and eat away from the charm of Kotor. The wifi was plenty adequate, the air conditioning worked wonderfully (it can get warm at night), and the bathroom had toilet paper and a shower with great water pressure.
Their yard is nice, with a patio to relax on and a couple fruit trees. It is also located only about 15-20 meters from the water, with a dock that has phenomenal views of both Kotor and the surrounding bay/landscape. There have been reviews saying it is far removed from Kotor, but it only takes approximately 20 minutes to walk or 5 minutes to drive. Also the old city can get busy at night, and it feels nice to get away from the noise at night and find some peace and quiet.
As for the hosts: there is not enough I can say about how they saved my trip from becoming a total disaster. Shortly after arriving, I hurt my knee (preexisting injury) and was unable to put amy weight on it; not only did this potentially ruin any plans I had of exploring, but I barely even made it to the apartment. Once I did though, Marija and her family treated me like one of their own, including providing me ice for my knee, driving me to and from the hospital (20 minutes each way!!) And making me both dinner and breakfast since I couldn't move much (also her husband bought me ice cream on the way back from the hospital, it was great). With my leg in a cast and crutches to use, I was able to salvage my journey and visit the unbelievable city of Kotor.
I apologize for the excessively long write-up, but Marija and her family are excessively wonderful people who deserve all the guests who are fortunate enough to visit this beautiful region. I will absolutely be returning in the hopes of staying there again, without the injury of course.
