À propos de ce logement
Modern bright and sunny bungalow with fabulous rooftop deck, bright sunny front patio and is a block away from the world famous Windansea beach. Surfer's paradise, spectacular sunsets and west of La Jolla Boulevard. Two bedrooms and two full baths. A small office and couches that sleep more if you want. The roof deck is covered and a great place to hang out. Great locations for family's and reunions, graduations and small weddings, AND I have a pack and play for babies!
Chill and cool place. Two nice bedrooms, both with a comfortable beds and smart TVs (including Netfix and Hulu). Front room has cable tv for you sports fans! Two full bathrooms guests have access to a roof deck over that garage that has a view of the ocean and some times of the year you can watch the sun set into the ocean. Front patio that is fun to sit and sip wine or beer depending on what you like. :-) The kitchen and living room has high ceilings so very welcoming. But chances are you will be on the roof deck. Full kitchen and much much more!
Please NOTE: Holiday weekends prices may vary. Also - this is a BEACH bungalow, and I am not strict on sand and shoes. Therefore sometimes there is sand on the floor, no matter how hard I clean! So enjoy your time at the beach, and sand is part of the gig. :-) Last note, this is not a quiet area. It is not noisy, but if you are looking for total silence, this is not the neighborhood! And it is happy noise, kids laughing and dogs barking, surfers running down the street. AND I have a pack and play for babies!

I am very responsive via text and emails. Phone calls are ok too!
At the bottom of the street is "The Pump House" in which Tom Wolfe‘s book of essays, The Pump House Gang, is about a group of surfers from Windansea Beach who “attended the Watts riots as if it were the Rose Bowl game in Pasadena.”
Windansea Beach is a stretch of coastline located in La Jolla, a community of San Diego, California. The neighborhood adjacent to the beach is named Windansea after the beach. It is named after the 1909 oceanfront Strand Hotel that was renamed “Windansea” Hotel in 1919 after the owner Arthur Snell ran a “naming contest”. The Windansea Hotel which was located on Neptune Avenue between Playa del Sur and Playa del Norte burned down in 1943. Geographically, it is defined by the beachfront extending north of Palomar Avenue and south of Westbourne Street.
The main peak at Windansea is a reef break. During the winter months, Windansea can have six-to-eight foot surf. Other breaks in the vicinity of Windansea include Middles, Turtles, Simmons (named after Bob Simmons who died at that break in 1954) and Big Rock.
Bus stop right on corner. Street parking and it is easily available. The bungalow is about 20-30 minutes (14 miles to be exact. :-)) from San Diego International airport. $25 Uber ride, or there is a decent bus system.
Just steps to world famous Windansea Beach, with great surfing, cool breezes and amazing sunsets……great open living space, walking distance to great restaurants and coffee shops.
No smoking in the house, but ok on deck or patio, just clean up ashes please. :-) Pets are pretty much a yes, but an small additional charge for them. $75 Also for babies and toddlers I have a pack and play!

Six foot tall product of a NASA rocket scientist and Mensa mother, who is a technology wizard but prefers to be associated swimming, surfing and water polo and throwing parties. . . .I love San Diego, and I love Windansea. I love the ocean, and surfing but I am not that good! I love Bikram yoga too and again not that good. I excel at swimming. I compete internationally still with US Masters, but I keep it fun! I work in IT and sometimes travel for work. I love my work too. My all time fav is surfing, and lessons are available. Ask if you are interested.
