My place is close to Sullivan's Island beach (5 miles) downtown Charleston (5 miles). Also walking distance to over a dozen bars and restaurants near Old Village Mt. Pleasant. My place is perfect for families with kids. Also great for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.
This is an older house, but it's very comfortable. The yard is huge and is great place to hang out.

Limited - only for reservation purposes unless otherwise encouraged. I can be a resource if you have questions about the area and where to go for dining etc.
Check out the overview for my dining suggestions.
For Golfers - I'm a scratch golfer so I think my opinion is fair. Pretty much anywhere is decent. If you can get hooked up on a private course, that's the deal. If not:
Wild Dunes is ok - very scenic - plan on a 6 hour round
Rivertowne - prob best bang for the buck. Back 9 is a good test. Used to be a LPGA event there a while back
Patriots Point - it's not bad. Kind of plain but they have a couple holes on the water. It's close by but the condition can kind of be suspect.
Kiawah - if you want to pay $350 for the ocean course it's worth it. Take a caddie and take it in. Several holes along the beach. Spectacular.
Other Kiawah courses are also good.
- Open to guests, but please be respectful of neighbors and late nights
