À propos de ce logement
Warm and luxurious alpine log home with Southwest Indian furniture with direct access to the ski slopes. Ideal to stop for warming up during the day. After a day of skiing, hiking or sightseeing in the National Forest , we like to dip in the Jacuzzi and then cook and spend a relaxing evening with family and friends telling how good the skiing was. We can spend a week leaving the car in the heated covered garage. We can be off the grid or in touch with the world with TV and Internet.
The Scandinavian log construction in a National Forest makes the space so integrated and comfortable.

Remember that in the winter season, the road is four-wheel drive only.
The house is key less: with a code (changing every week) you can open and close the garage doors and go skiing. If you have a two wheel drive, it is safer to leave it on the parking lot of the resort.

We have a care taker in town who can help. We can pick up grocery on request and help you customize your trip. Just ask us.
The neighborhood is very residential. You have good diner in town as well as Taos
The best way to come to Taos is to fly to Albuquerque. Arrange for a shuttle with the ski resort. You can also rent a car in Albuquerque and drive 3 hours.
The house is at 9600 feet elevation. You will be skiing between 9000 and 12000 feet. Drink a lot of water, eat a lot of garlic for altitude sickness.
