We stayed here for almost a week with our 6 and 9 year old daughters, and it was *amazing*. We had the whole place to ourselves, and it was a super quiet and relaxed visit (late March - great weather, too).
This location is particularly great. It's located about 100 yards along the beach from Villa Montana, and it is quite isolated. We were literally steps from the beach, which is a wonderful place for sand play and harassing marine critters. And it took us only about 2 hours to get here from San Juan.
The beach right in front is a bit rocky and not great for young kids to swim at (playing is fine!), but both of the adults found it easy to go in for a swim whenever they wanted; for the kids, there is a beautiful little swimming pool on the property that is perfect for cooling off and swimming around. You can also walk along the beach for about 200 yards (to the east) and find an awesome snorkeling spot (our guide called it the 2nd best place in PR) which we visited 3-4 times.
Other highlights -
* very clean and well maintained!
* comfortable beds!
* matched pictures perfectly!
* great air conditioning!
* excellent communication with Ana!
* good towels (although you'll want to bring some beach towels)
* sufficient cookware & kitchen equipment to make your own meals
* walking distance to Tropical Trail Rides (which our kids loved)
There are many stores and restaurants within 10-15 minutes drive if you don't want to cook, as well.
The only caveat I wanted to mention is that this is part of a complex of three connected residences, two on the ground floor and one above - I think Ana manages them all. I can imagine that it is a bit crowded when all three are booked, so you might take that into consideration. On the flip side, if you wanted to come on a multi-family or large-family trip, this could be the perfect location!
