While you will often have the back yard completely to your selves, it is a shared space with our family so we may also be out there enjoying the yard, grilling and using the fire pit. Part of our reason for having an Airbnb is our love of meeting and hanging out with new people when we travel, so we hope you feel the same.
The outdoor bathroom is right next to the Yurt and is a great compliment to it’s spirit. It’s also constructed almost entirely of recycled and found lumber. It’s private, but it is an OUTDOOR facility so you can shower under the sky while still experiencing the feeling of concealment. The shower is run by a propane powered device which heats the water in seconds. The toilet, is a top of the line RV model which works just like a regular toilet and is odorless and leak free. Atop the bathroom is a small, but cozy deck for an afternoon of sunbathing and book reading if you choose to get up above the roofs and into the tree level. Towels, liquid soap and shampoo are provided.
Artists of all ages and mediums are your hosts. So all pieces like the kitchenette, outdoor bathroom, furniture and decorations are one of a kind works of art. This is the setting for this house and the Yurt, and if you’re an artist as well, we have an available easel and a professional potter’s wheel which guests are welcome to experience based on host availability.
