A beautiful house in a lovely part of town. The area is quiet and verdant, just steps away from the jungles of Doi Suthep National Park and the beautiful grounds of Wat Umong.
This is a lovingly hand-crafted house in a jungle setting on the city's edge, just a 5-10 minute motorbike drive to the trendy Nimmanheiman district and about a 12 minute motorbike drive to the old city. Enjoy boutique shops, nature trails and temples within walking and/or bicycling distance from the house.
This a beautiful room on the second floor of a truly unique three-story teak house. It is 3.5m x 3.5m, and also has a large en-suite bathroom. The property is quiet and verdant, and surrounded by natural greenery. This is the perfect retreat if you want to enjoy Chiang Mai in a peaceful natural setting with easy access to the city.
The house is three stories tall. The ground level is shared among guests and has a bright open plan living area. It includes a spacious, fully equipped kitchen, perfect if you'd like to prepare your own meals. You can enjoy dining indoors or el fresco in the cozy garden.
The room is located on the 2nd floor of the house. It has a queen-sized bed, and the room leads out onto a large wooden terrace with a funky boat-shaped lounge area. It has a private en-suite bathroom.
(There are 2 other guest rooms located next to and above this room).

Owner does not live in the house, but she lives close by. She can help with suggestions and directions, and she can teach some regional Thai cooking, but guests should be independent. She can help contact taxis and tuk-tuks, and suggest places to visit. She can also help arrange renting a motor scooter, which is a very common and practical mode of transport here, and can help you contact places like elephant camps or cooking schools.
We're on the door step to the jungle so you can expect to hear relaxing animal sounds at night (frogs, crickets etc.).
There are mosquitos (everywhere in Thailand, not just here!) so we do suggest bringing repellent for your stay.
- No smoking in the house; only outside.
- No candles.
- Quiet time after 11pm.
- Please be clean.
- Maximum of two guests per room, unless you make arrangements with the owner beforehand.
- No outside guests allowed to stay overnight.
- Turn off the Air Conditioning when going out, and keep doors/windows shut when the air conditioning is in use.
If checking in after 9pm, coordinate with owner first. Please understand that we are just a family, not a business, so late check-in can sometimes be a bit difficult for us.
