Bright garden suite on a beautiful tree-lined street with a fully equipped kitchen and outside patio. Steps to all the wonderful amenities of Commercial Drive and a short hop to McSpadden Park. Two blocks from the Broadway/Commercial skytrain station so you'll have easy access to everything the city has to offer!

Our private 400 sq. ft. one bedroom suite sleeps up to two guests.

* Entrance on the ground floor with an outdoor patio
* Full kitchen with stove, oven, fridge, and storage for food stuffs
* Full dining amenities like dishes, glasses, cutting boards, salt/pepper
* Complimentary coffee and tea
* 3-piece bathroom
* Master bedroom with queen sized bed

Our front gate is a common access area for your suite and the rest of the home.

The suite is designed for privacy, but we're always here if you need us. Feel free to knock on our door (around back and up the stairs), email or text us, or send us a message through Airbnb.

Both of us love Vancouver and have lived here for many years. We're more than happy to provide suggestions on what to do during your visit and answer any questions about our neighbourhood, the city, and the lower mainland.

Commercial Drive or "The Drive" as we call it is a totally walkable, vibrant, eclectic neighbourhood has something for everyone.

JJBean coffee is at the end of the street along with Donald's (and Dollar) Grocery, St. Augustine's pub with one of the biggest collection of craft brews, Grandview Lanes bowling, and restaurants JamJar (Lebanese), Cabrito Tapas, and Relish gourmet burgers.

Nearby is live a Saturday morning Farmer's Market at Trout Lake; live music / vegetarian food / slam poetry at Cafe Deux Soleils; Ethiopian delights at Harambe, two community centers at Trout Lake and Britannia offering gyms, a pool, and a library. You'll find numerous coffee shops, cafes, restaurants, bars, toy shops, gelaterias, and international food stores all the way up and down Commercial Drive. Take an afternoon stroll and explore!

You are two blocks (4 minute walk) from the central hub of Broadway/Commercial Skytrain station and the 99-B Line bus to UBC. Six blocks from the Broadway bike lane (along 10th Avenue). From here, you can easily navigate the City using public transport.

It is also quick to access Trans Canada Highway 1 off of 1st Avenue East.

If you like to snowboard or ski, transportation to Grouse, Cypress, and Whistler are easily accessible from here.

This is a garden suite in our family home. We soundproofed as much as we can, but when we are home you will occasionally hear the creaks of 50-year-old floor, little feet, a piano lesson, and other sounds of family life.

* Respect the 2 guest maximum.
* Be respectful to our place, our neighbours and our community.
* Sorry no pets. We love dogs but some folks are allergic.
* Yes to kids. We love them and as far as we know, no one is allergic to them.
* Absolutely no parties or loud noise between 10PM and 7AM. Why? Because our neighbours are full-time residents who, like you, operate way better (and are much nicer) after a good night sleep.
* Remove your shoes. That's right, no outdoor footwear past the front door.
* Leave the unit reasonably tidy.
* If you break or damage something that's OK. Stuff happens. Be courageous and let us know and arrange for its replacement or repair.
* Lastly, this is our home and we want you to enjoy it as much as we do. We ask that you take care of it for us and for our other guests, so that it will be in perfect condition when you return. Thank You!
