$120 a night for a second-class motel experience. I was very disappointed with my experience. I would not recommend this place to anyone else. Let me explain why.....
It is always tricky writing a unbiased review, but I want to make sure the next guest gets the information needed to decide. I stayed here for six nights. I will break it down into four parts:
Host: Prompt in responding. After the first day, "let me know what you want", she never reached out again, I was there for six nights, and never saw her once. She never offered to replace towels or sheets. Or just ask me if I wanted to use the kitchen for the morning coffee.
Room: This is a decent room. Large bed that creeks at every turn. There is no air-conditioning. If you leave the windows open, you can hear the TV from the neighbors. It gets really hot in the afternoon. The neighbors look at you suspiciously. The woman upstairs left at 5:30 AM each morning and would walk with heels in her room. So if you want to wake up at 5:30, this is for you. Good internet. Very dirty shower, has not been cleaned in ages.
Location: Noisy neighbors, not close to anything. Perhaps a bus-stop. The beach is 20 long blocks from the location. You will need a car if you are visiting. I saw a few homeless people around but never felt unsafe. The room is located next to a fire-station.
