Because of the large windows, the space is exceptionally bright -- even in the morning. Trees and architectural details keep the loft private and there isn't the heat of direct sunlight, keeping things mostly temperate throughout the year. While typically not needed, there is an industrial (i.e., loud and costly to run) central heating / cooling unit if necessary.
The building is an old industrial space, so it certainly has a few quirks. There are the occasional intermittent building noises -- something to be aware of if you are extremely sensitive to noise.
This space is my home and I thank you for your care with it and all the lovely things it contains. Almost all of the furniture is vintage. Many of the objects I have (books, plants, artwork and various sentimental trinket) are not replaceable. If you break, stain, or steal something, I will be sad.
No red wine outside of the kitchen / dining room.
