We hope you'll love our flat! It's within walking distance from the city centre, a 5 minute taxi drive from Waverley Station, and all major bus routes can be found just outside. In the flat you'll find a large double bedroom, a private bathroom with a bath tub, and a living room with a sofa that could sleep another guest. There is also a well-equipped kitchen, and beautiful garden.
There's a supermarket next door, a handful of amazing pubs nearby and the Calton Hill park just up the street.
The flat is on the first floor of a traditional Edinburgh tenement building, built over 100 years ago.
The double bedroom is spacious and comfortable. It is located at the back of the flat, which means that you will not hear any noise from the street.
The living room includes a giant sofa and a bay window, bringing in lots of light.
The kitchen is quite small, but provides all the necessary appliances (as we're both very much into cooking). You will find a kettle and toaster, an electric stove and oven, a selection of cooking equipment, and a dishwasher. We also provide essentials such as salt and pepper, olive oil, tea and coffee.
At the back there is a huge shared garden- perfect for impromptu barbecues and sunbathing.
Accès des voyageurs
The entire place will be yours to use. There is a second bedroom in the flat, which we use to store our things.

We rent out the flat when we are away, so most likely we won't be able to meet you in person. However, we will arrange for one of our friends to meet you at the start of your stay, give you the keys and explain the basics about the flat. We will be happy to give you advice about things to do and places to visit over email, and there will also be guidebooks and brochures in the flat.
As the carpets are new, we'd like to ask you to take off your shoes when you're inside (plenty of funky slippers will be provided). Also, we really care about the environment, so please sort your rubbish (recycling bins provided by the kitchen).

We like to think of ourselves as active, energetic, and taking the most out of life. We are both involved in music and dance- Pawel is a drummer, Kasia is a pianist and a cellist, we dance salsa and swing, we enjoy good concerts and the singer-songwriter scene in Edinburgh. Apart from that, we love travelling (we've lived in the Netherlands, North Carolina, and Sydney, just to name a few), and we are absolutely crazy about food and cooking.
Kasia works for the University and Pawel works for a small digital agency in Leith. We both really like our jobs, but we definitely work to live rather than live to work :)
