Unfortunately my interaction with visitors may be not in person. However, I will be in constant vigilance to answer any questions online or telephone.

The neighborhood is quiet, with no urban luxury and the obvious care deficiencies by the municipal authorities in recent years - there is an old bridge that connects the neighborhood with the city and standing demand of the people is its upgrading. Despite the gap that is created by the municipality in this regard the inhabitants still erect luxurious new houses luxurious, and that's your choice. There is no major roads and public transport is absent from the streets of the neighborhood, but the nearest bus stop to the center is only 15 minutes away. This makes the apartment look isolated from the rest of the city, without this necessarily means that the ride in the center is a time consuming process, especially if the movement is done by car.In the neighborhood, there is in a short distance from the room one major brand name super market, mini market which operates until late and mini - bar and fast food with very friendly and helpful owners.

The public transport station is located 15 minutes from the apartment. We propose a car use due to the comfortable private parking of the building.

Using our apartments as a "base" you can experience unforgettable moments on the island of Crete.

CHAMOTO SPILIARI IN KAMARAKIA MALEVIZIOU (CAVE)
Because of the high altitude of Lassithi Plateau it is mainly believed that there were nowhere watermills, only windmills. In fact there were watermills in the water-rich southwest part of Lasithi. With the time the watermills in Lassithi were disused and now they area covered by dense vegetation. The mills of the plateau are met at the villages Agios Charalambos, Kaminaki, Avrakontes, Plati, Magoulas and Psichro. One of the mills preserved in quite good condition is the watermill of Plati, located on a slope slightly higher than the village in a wooded location with old oaks, platans and other trees. The watermill in Plati hosts a large stone cistern where water was collected and used later for grinding the grain.

PAHIA AMMOS
Pahia Ammos is located 20km east of Agios Nikolaos, on the road connecting Agios Nikolaos with Sitia and Ierapetra. It is a large village, built on the north side of the narrowest part of Crete, at the exit of a fertile plain with olive groves. The local beach and the sights of the surrounding area have contributed to the mild development of the village. In the village you will find small hotels, rooms and taverns.

In front of Pahia Ammos and 500m to the east, a long beach with sand and pebbles unfolds, which is open to the north winds. The sea is usually wavy, but you can stay at the west part of the beach, which is well protected by a jetty. This part is sandy and clean, well organized with umbrellas and sunbeds.

If you seek peace, you can stay remote in the eastern part of the beach, but it is unprotected from the waves. Moreover, at this point currents carry garbage, mainly because Pahia Ammos is located in southern part of the Gulf of Mirabello. There are several tamarisk trees and the beach is pebbly. At the east end of the beach flows the stream that carries water from the impressive Gorge of Ha (in winter).

Hello!
My name is Nektarios and I come from Crete. I lived my early days in a small village called Garazo, located on the foot of Psiloritis (= high mountain in Greek). After graduated high school, I continued my studies in health sciences. I have currently moved to Athens where is my permanent work base. I am married with Vasiliki and we have a little baby girl.
Instead of studying, I love travelling all over the world to meet new people and cultures and taste new dishes. I am getting used to go to gym and play football. I also prefer watching films on cinema or go out for a drink during weekend evenings.
I became a host on Airbnb in February 2016 and my goal is to make my guests feel as comfortable as possible so that they can have a great time in my place, the beautiful island of Crete.
