Born in Longview, WA in 1937.Graduated Kelso High School in 1956 and Lower Columbia College in 1958.Worked entire career in the paper industry beginning in 1958 with 6 years at Longview Fibre Company followed by 33 years at Crown Zellerbach, James River, Fort James facility at Wauna, in Oregon. Happily married to wife Shirley since 1958. We have one son, Erik and one daughter Debbie.Currently own (with a number of friends) and operate Long Hollow Ranch - a working guest ranch in central Oregon.
