The Susquehanna manor was a lovely place. Very clean place with wonderful hosts! Rachel and Shane were friendly, warm hearted and patient folks. We rented the entire manor with the exception of the private room. There was plenty of room for all adults and kids to sleep. Breakfast was wonderful as well. Would definitely go back for the hospitality!

Rachel and Shane are extremely gracious hosts who take pride in there beautifully restored bed and breakfast. It is about 30 minutes from Lancaster but less then 10 minutes from the Turkey Hill experience. The wraparound porch and the outdoor grounds were absolutely quaint and made the weekend stay extra enjoyable. Rachel is an amazing cook and on our second day we're served to two different types of French Toast...stuffed and lemon, both delicious. Everything was clean and comfortable and we would be happy to stay there again.

We rented the whole inn for my sister's bachelorette party to be close to Lancaster. My sister is an F&M alum. We had a group of 9 for a "low key" gathering. We fit perfectly into the house! We had a lot of space to play games and hang out. Rachel is great and we felt so comfortable the whole time! The rooms are beautiful. The temperature of the house was perfect for late July! My sister was in awe and so appreciated our stay there. Rachel also makes an AMAZING breakfast. That just felt like a bonus! Our only regret was we didn't have more time to stay and enjoy the beautiful yard!

Bottom line: I would definitely stay here again, albeit in the fall or spring when the weather is less muggy! The trees will probably be beautiful when the leaves are changing. Host: Incredibly communicative and flexible with regards to our check-in and guest requests. They were also quick to handle a broken AC on the first day, and admirably chilled the house as best they could under such short notice. Space: The house has 5 private and spacious bedrooms, one sunroom with a daybed (it gets very warm in here in the summer), and a large couch/sectional that is perfect for lounging around and for kids to sleep. My group comfortably fit 4 couples and 2 singles. I would strongly recommend for groups interested in privacy, plan on 5 bedrooms worth of people = 10, and then anyone who doesn’t mind sleeping on a couch. The house is huge! There is a lot of green space outdoors, and we loved sitting on the porch drinking coffee and relaxing. Location: The house is located with a short drive of several restaurants along the river, and is only 20-30 minutes from the beautiful Amish country. Go to Lapp Family Farms. You will not regret it!

We had a family reunion and this was the best experience we've ever had. The manor was exactly as described and our family of 16 fit comfortably. Rachel was a great host, attentive, communicated prior to and during our visit, and made us feel at home. We left a beloved stuffed animal and she was kind enough to mail it to us. Very family friendly and would recommend this B and B for anyone looking for a relaxing place to stay.
