Hello! Welcome to our safe, fun and artist-friendly home in the heart of Bushwick, Brooklyn (One of the trendiest neighborhoods in NYC)! This room is the perfect economical way to enjoy living like a local. The room is nice and private, and the house is warm and inviting. We have a common area with a 42" Flatscreen TV and Apple TV with Netflix and HBOgo, also a huge backyard with garden to relax in.
This room is located on the basement level of a duplex apartment. It is next to the common area with couch and TV, and shares space with another smaller room on the same floor. It does not have a door, but has a curtain and Japanese wood panel divider enclosing it off from the rest of the space for privacy. You may be sharing the basement level with another guest, so if you prefer more privacy ask about one of the bigger bedrooms upstairs.

I as your host am very happy to leave you to yourself or to show you around the neighborhood as you wish. I am part-owner of an art gallery and am very connected to the music and nightlife scene in NYC. I am enjoy hosting guests from all over the world and showing them what the city has to offer. If you need anything, just ask!
This is a fun, artistic communal home. Please be sure you are ok with living with other people before booking. You will need to be aware of other people in the space, and be respectful of them if they are trying to sleep. Please keep phone conversation as a respectful volume, and be aware not to make noise during evening hours when other guests are sleeping. Please clean up after yourself in the kitchen and bathroom, and do not leave a mess in any common area that might make other guests uncomfortable. Also, if you are staying more than a few days it would be nice if you can contribute to communally shared items such as toilet paper or paper towels if you notice they are empty.
No smoking inside. Respect community area. Enjoy the trip. Nyc is amazingly awesome.
