We will be here to greet you and answer your questions if you are so inclined, but if you prefer privacy, we understand. However, if you want to meet us or spend time with us, we are easy to find. This is YOUR trip, so you decide how much or how little interaction works for you.
The upscale neighborhood at Beaver Lake is simply gorgeous. We are surrounded by the Blue Ridge Mountains (Blue Ridge Parkway!), lovely homes, nature and gardens, privacy, and beautiful Beaver Lake which has a running/walking path all the way around it. The Bird Sanctuary is a short walk away. It is 4 minutes downhill to the lake and 6-7 minutes (3.1 miles) by car to downtown Asheville!
There is a bus stop on Lakeshore drive - the bus goes directly downtown. Car, biking and walking are the best way to get around. And yes, UBER and LYFT are here in Asheville, and downtown weekend parking is scarce, so these taxi services are a godsend.
There is wifi, cable television, lots of DVD's and lots of books. But hey, you can watch television at home. Here, you are in paradise and you should get out and about and enjoy!!!
