The 22 sq.m. private studio is a perfect place for travellers looking for a cozy & quiet space to stay in Sarajevo. It has its own bathroom and kitchenette, which makes it highly practical. It takes 5 minutes to reach Baščaršija, the Old town city centre, making everything you might need during your stay here very close. It is perfect for couples, friends, or families with one child, or two small ones. Common space outside, in the garden, is perfect for relaxing with some coffee and a good book.
The room is one of the three apartments that we rent out on our property. It is a cozy space, spacious and light, with a nice view of our street and neighborhood, and slopes of the Olympic mountain Trebević. We are located close to the city center, about 400 meters slightly uphill from Baščaršija, the Old town central square. It takes about five minutes to reach on foot. There is also public transportation that you can take to get to our place from Baščaršija, but it simply isn't worth it as our home is located between two mini-bus stops, and it's much faster to reach on foot. All the most important landmarks of the city are no more than 20 minutes away, as well as the best places regarding nightlife in Sarajevo.
Aside from your private studio, you have an open terrace, which is a shared space for all guests. It provides a perfect view of the slopes of Vratnik, Medrese, Sumbuluša, Kovači and other neighborhoods, which are some of the oldest residential parts of the city. It's the space that most of our guests love spending time in when they're relaxing from their tours and walks through Sarajevo.
Accès des voyageurs
The studio is private and used only by you. The common space is the outside terrace and garden. You have space to sit and relax, play some darts or chess, or enjoy one of the swings as in the good old childhood days.
Échanges avec les voyageurs
Your hosts try their best to make you feel as comfortable as possible. We adapt to your needs and wishes; if you feel like chatting and getting to know the city and its people more, we are there to help, but we also know when to give you your space. We like to get to know new people and hear their stories, which is one of the main reasons we host.
This also depends on our obligations, of course, but we'll definitely find time for you, however long you're staying. It's crucial that you do not hesitate to ask for help at any time.
For those who want to explore the capital of BIH (or other parts of the country as well) more, my experience as a tour guide allows me to point you in the right direction and help you out with choosing just the right tour for you. If you don't prefer tours, I'll let you know how you can get around by yourself.
We are quite flexible as hosts, and will do our best to make sure every guest has a good time at our place, and will try to adapt to everyone's needs. What we require from our guests is nothing more than respect for our property and for the neighbors as well, considering it's an old neighborhood where everyone is quite close; this implies not being too loud or making excessive noise, among other things.

I'm a 22 year old 4th year Economics student, set to graduate in September. I currently work as an economic analyst in digital marketing.
I was born and raised in Sarajevo and feel like I could never call another place home. Using hosting as a way of connecting with people from all around the world and learning how people from around the globe think, and it's proven to be an extremely fun and interesting experience. Hope to, sometime soon, use traveling for the same purpose to a larger extent.
I love history and interesting stories about people and places and can't wait to learn something new, as well as to share my, albeit limited, knowledge with others.
Stop by for some Bosnian coffee and a chat, the two go together perfectly! :)
