My place is located in a vibrant part of the Upper West Side of Manhattan. I'm just around the corner from the subway, (1/2/3, B, and C) 15 minutes from Times Square, two blocks from Central Park, and situated on leafy Amsterdam Avenue. The neighborhood is safe, friendly, and totally walkable; an urban explorer's dream come true! My place is great for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.
I am a LGBTQI friendly host and welcome all individuals to stay at my place.
The apartment features a split floor plan with the guest room, bathroom, and kitchen on one side, and the common space and host's quarters on the opposite. Keep in mind that the apartment is located on the fifth floor of an older historic building and there is no elevator. If you're not travelling light, the host will be more than happy to help you up with your luggage.
I'm originally from Arizona, but have spent time living in Moscow and New York. I love to travel, entertain and host, and trade stories.
I'm into food and wine, music, nerd stuff (video games! Star Trek!) and exploring culture/language. I'm a Crossfitter and a night owl by nature. I'm a flexible and adaptive host, independent and self-sufficient, but culturally/spiritually sensitive. I make sure all my guests feel they're in a safe space, and embrace LGBTQI/non gender-binary individuals/couples.
I have a totally absurd sense of humor and love meeting new people over a cocktail or cup of coffee. I also speak Russian and Spanish.
