Located on a beautiful tree-lined street, this newly renovated 2-bedroom apartment on the 2nd and 3rd floor in a turn of the century home is minutes from Toronto's hippest boutique shopping districts and restaurants of Queen Street West, Ossington Avenue, Dundas Street West, College Street's Little Italy and Kensington Market.

Le logement

Welcome to Toronto! When availability permits we make our 3-bedroom apartment also available as a smaller 2-bedroom apartment. This way we can accommodate smaller families or groups who are traveling to Toronto but do not need a third bedroom.

Perfect for families with children, or co-workers visiting Toronto, we are located next to beautiful Trinity Bellwoods Park, a 14.6 hectare downtown Toronto park featuring three baseball diamonds, eight tennis courts, two volleyball courts, an artificial ice rink, off-leash dog run, picnic area, wading pool and children's playground.

You can request our baby and toddler equipment at no extra charge, including: Shermag Atwood™ crib, double sided bed rails, Graco Duodiner™ LX 3-in-1 highchair, Summer Right Height™ Bath Center, Munchkin™ Auto Close Designer Gates, Safety 1st™ Slide 'n Click cabinet locks and Grip 'n Twist Door Knob Covers. Please see these items in our pictures and enquire at the time of booking to reserve these items and prepare them for your arrival.

You will find the heart of our home is the open concept kitchen/dining/living room space which seats 4 adults comfortably around a granite top kitchen island. We provide Whirlpool stainless steel appliances including: a 33" French door refrigerator with ice-maker, a ceramic glass electric cooktop with convection oven, dishwasher, Panasonic microwave and private Whirlpool Duet full-sized high efficiency washer and dryer. We have an iron and ironing board, hair dryer in each bathroom, carbon-fibre stick umbrellas for just-in-case, and a yoga mat and roller for stretching.

Our kitchen is stocked with Cuisinart™ stainless steel pots and pans, Cuisinart Brew Central™ stainless steel coffee maker and Cuisinart™ toaster and electronic rice maker. If you have any special kitchen equipment needs (Bialtetti™ stovetop espresso maker, Bodum™ French Press coffee maker, French stainless steel mandolin, Lodge™ cast-iron frying pan, cake or bread pans) please mention "Kitchen Equipment" during the reservation and we can make those available to you.

We also proudly use Avalon Organics™ lavender scented bath products (shower gel, shampoo, hand cleanser and body lotion).

Privately controlled heating or air conditioning will keep you comfortable while you surf our high speed Wi-Fi, watch Bell Fibe TV, or listen to your favorite music or our curated playlist on our Sonos Play 1.

The beds all have a Sealy Posturepedic™ tight top firm mattress, and the bedroom window coverings are blackout roller blinds or silk dupioni curtains.

We can also arrange a temporary street parking permit during your stay, or alternatively there is Green P Public Parking Lot a few blocks away at the corner of Dundas Street West and Claremont. Street parking and Green P Public Parking are extra charge. For street parking permit, I will only need your license plate number and the car's province of registration to make the application on your behalf.

If you have any questions or special requests please don't hesitate to let me know... It is my pleasure to source you or your partner's favourite flowers, locate your favourite wine or provide a memorable cheese, paté de compagne and crunchy baguette board... These items will be charged separately from the reservation cost.

If you are pressed for time or are arriving late, please let me know what type of pantry items you would like stocked prior your arrival and I will purchase these on your behalf, and again, I will provide receipts and you can pay me back when you check in.

Finally, and because there is no where else to list "Checkout" details, I will personally meet you upon checkout to hear about your stay and to receive any feedback you may have (good or bad) to make the experience better for you or other future guests. Most importantly, please do not make any laundry on the day of your checkout - the only thing we ask is you rinse your dishes and put them in the dishwasher. Later in the day we will arrive with a fresh set of ironed linens and prepare the apartment for the next guests. The most important thing you can do on checkout day is enjoy the last couple of hours on your visit to Toronto.

With a shared entrance on the ground floor, you will have full and exclusive use of a private 2-bedroom apartment on the second and third floors.

- 3 steps up to the front porch.
- 1 flight of stairs up to the second floor. This is the main "living floor" level of this apartment and includes the open concept Kitchen/Dining/Living Room, Bedroom 1, Bathroom 1 (with tub and shower combination) and front deck overlooking the front of the house.
- 1 flight of stairs up to the third floor. This is the second "living floor" level of this apartment and includes Bedrooms 2 and a Jack-andJill Bathroom 2 (stand shower enclosure) and rear 200sf (18m2) deck with a Pottery Barn™ market umbrella and lounge chairs for watching a west-end sunset with a glass of wine at the end of your day.

After a personalized checkin to ensure all guests are settled comfortably, I am available at any time during your stay should you have any questions or need anything to make your stay more enjoyable.

If you are traveling alone and would like some company, please let me know and if calendar permits I would be happy to take you to my favourite watering hole, restaurant or gallery space.

Le quartier

While searching for our forever home, we always gravitated toward the West end. I tell everyone that we spend all of our time here, from the delicious restaurants, independent shops and small bars, to the cool barber and wonderful neighbours... Toronto is one of the last few cities where you can still "live" in a house downtown with a cute front and/or backyard and still be minutes from the downtown core.

I cannot say it enough, if you want to experience the best of Toronto, Little Italy, Little Portugal and West Queen Street West will leave a sweet taste in your mouth and have you craving more...


Our apartment is located near 2 main streetcar routes connecting with Toronto's subway line (The closest subway is 2.4 km or 1.5 miles via streetcar).

The 506 Carlton streetcar travels east/west along College Street from High Park Loop to Main Street Station on Danforth Avenue. It connects with Line 1, the Yonge/University subway lines at Queen's Park and College Street stations. The streetcar stop is located at the intersection of Grace and College Streets, 250m or 820ft from the apartment.

This route is serviced at night by the 306 east/west bus from Dundas West Station along College Street to Main Street Station on Danforth Avenue.

*** This route is handy for visiting High Park, Dufferin Mall, Dufferin Grove Park, Kensington Market, University of Toronto, MaRS, Maple Leaf Gardens, the Village, Cabbagetown, Leslieville or the Danforth.

Alternatively, the 505 Dundas streetcar travels east/west along Dundas Street from subway Line 2 Dundas West station to Line 2 Broadview station. It also connects with Line 1, the Yonge/University subway lines at St. Patrick and Dundas stations. The streetcar stop is located at Dundas Street West and Grace Streets, also 250m or 820ft from the apartment.

There is no night service on this route.

*** This route is handy for visiting Roncesvalles, Ossington Avenue, Trinity Bellwoods Park, City Hall, The Eaton Center, Yonge Dundas Square, Ryerson University, Cabbagetown, Leslieville or the Danforth.

Bike Share Toronto is another fun and hip way to explore the city. We have stations scattered around town and two stations are located close to our apartment. One is at Claremont/Dundas and the second is at Dundas/Crawford. b will let you see how many bikes are available and how many drop off spaces are left. If you need to borrow helmets, please let me know so we can arrange them for you.

Autres remarques

All guests are welcome to benefit from our Museum of Contemporary Art - Toronto - Corporate Membership Card. Although MOCA - Toronto will not re-open until the Fall of 2017 (can't wait!) this card gives you access to some of Toronto's other great contemporary spaces, including: Creative Spirit Art Centre, The Bata Shoe Museum, The Textile Museum, Mercer Union and The Powerplant.

1. For everyone's safety and security, only the guests listed in the reservation are permitted on the property. Please remember to bring a government issued photo ID as this is required at check-in.

2. We live in a family friendly neighbourhood so unfortunately we don't allow parties and no loud events after 10pm.

3. In case of emergencies, all guests are asked to fill out a contact information sheet.

4. No smoking in the apartment and strictly no drugs permitted on the premises. Smoking in the apartment will result in a CAD 300 charge for deep cleaning, and possession of drugs will result in immediate cancellation of the reservation and eviction.

5. Unlimited high speed wifi is included in the nightly rate, however all guests must agree to no downloading of any copyright material.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Clarence beautiful apartment. The apartment is fully equipped with all essentials to make you feel home. Clarence organized for our little daughter a crib, high chair and even toys which was super helpful. We would definitely book this place again.

The top floor of Grace Street is an absolute gem. I love that two of the bedrooms have their own bathroom. It was a huge time saver for us in the mornings. The terrace was to die for and even though it was a bit chilly we found ourselves spending time up there. Clarence was fantastic as always and I'm looking forward to my next trip to Toronto and staying at Grace Street.

We just had a fantastic stay here! The apartment has been very nicely decorated and looks and feels brand new. The location in little Italy is perfect with lots of small shops, restaurants and bakeries on walking distance. Clarence and his partner are wonderful people who just make great hosts. I would definitely love to come back here once more.

I've stayed at quite a few Airbnb's and this is one of the nicest. The apartment was complete renovated top to bottom within the past year, and the unit is very well designed. The unit looks just like the pictures, but the pictures don't tell to the whole story - there are two wonderful patios, including one on the roof which is perfect for a glass of wine. The neighborhood, in my opinion is one of the nicest for young or old guests. You are within walking distance of Little Italy on College St. which is packed with restaurants, bars, patios, bakeries, and coffee shops, and very close to downtown and all the amenities the city has to offer. Despite being in the city center, the house is on a quite street and has a nice neighborhood feel. Clarence is a very accommodating host who is very passionate about creating an exceptional experience for his guests. The unit is only used for Airbnb so it is very tidy with no clutter. You'll love this place.
