This place is absolutely comfortable for a 1-2 people, but can accommodate two extra for short stays. It is a small cottage tucked off of a downtown street. I also rent out one of the other units in the tri-plex. So if you have a larger group, you can rent both units. You are literally a 4 min walk to the heart of Castro Street @ Dana. Off street parking in front of the house or garage.

Walkability Score is 92: Walker's Paradise. You'd be lucky to find Castro parking this close. YCombinator is a 20 min walk down Dana St. House is on a quiet street just off Castro Street. Bungalow is set at the back of the lot. Try a different ethnic restaurant every night. I recently discovered a wonderful little Japanese burger joint, hidden in plain sight.
Full house is for your exclusive use. The house has been set up with Airbnb guests in mind. There are two bedrooms, living room, kitchen and bathroom. Small backyard with outdoor seating. Off street parking, which is very important considering the downtown location. 1 block from the library and 3 blocks to the Mountain View Cal Train station. Just a couple miles to the big search engine campus.

Great place! The location and size of this unit was perfect for a visit to Mountain View for 2 ppl. Off-street parking, walking distance to downtown, and the owners were very accommodating of early check-in even when someone was checking out the day we checked in. When Christina was out of the country, Sandra responded immediately to my messages. Thanks!

Perfect down town Mountain View location. No street noise, the neighboring apartments were quiet. The cottage was clean and well stocked.

The place worked well for my needs. It is close to many restaurants on Castro Street. Only issues were that there was no day bed as described in the listing and the floors left my bare feet dirty.

WHO STAYS IN MY HOMES? The communal homes attract young techies and interns. They are not suitable for families or couples. The whole house rentals are more suitable for families or people travelling together for business.

I am a single divorced mother of two teen daughters that my ex husband and I adopted from Russia when they were a year old.
