Our place is nestled in the lively area of San Chaung, an ideal location to discover Yangon. The hotel is not far from the city center ( just 2.2 km away) and it normally takes about 25 minutes to reach the airport. With its convenient location, the hotel offers easy access to the city's must-see destinations, landmarks are nearby and easy to reach. The Shwedagon Pagoda is located at 15 minutes walking distance from Wai Wai’s Boutique.

The staff are all lovely- super welcoming and ready to help with anything you need. The Shan noodles at the restaurant are delicious. The room is basic but clean and tidy.

WaiWai has two places in Yangon, the older (and charming) large house located in a residential neighbourhood a bit further from downtown (about 15 min by taxi) and the new (under final renovation) place walking distance from Shwedagon Pagoda. Both places are comfortable, pleasant and welcoming and, let me emphasise this, both place are hosted by two very capable, caring and practical women - I felt very welcome and have deeply appreciated their generous help in getting myself organised in Yangon. And ... both places offer the unexpected advantage of meeting other guests at the common areas for breakfast, coffee, etc. Warmly recommend both Wai Wai's places.
