A short walk through Old Manali Village will bring you to our homestay - hidden inside Apple, Pear, Apricot & Cherry orchards.

The property contains 4 rooms, a lush garden, & a terrace with a 360 degree view of snow-capped peaks, waterfalls and mountainsides thick with forests. If you're coming with friends or family, the entire house can be booked at a more attractive price.

When you walk through the village of Old Manali, you will see traditional wood and stone houses, people going about their daily jobs – women weaving their local woollen dress, men shearing their sheep and tending to the cows and yaks.

This sensory experience will bring you to our doorstep – a boutique homestay hidden inside Apple, Pear, Apricot and Cherry orchards. Secluded, yet walking distance to the restaurants, cafes and bars of Old Manali, it offers a quiet retreat for travellers looking to live privately.

The property contains only 4 rooms, a lush and unbridled garden, and a terrace with a 360 degree view of the surrounding mountains through the day and of the sprawling, star filled night sky. The views are of the snow-capped peaks, waterfalls and mountainsides thick with Deodar and Fir trees. The rooms are individually decorated and inspired by the local handicrafts and culture.

We are super pet friendly, and also provide meals for your pets.
Accompanied and guided walks, hikes, rock climbing and other mountaineering related activities are offered by “Mountain Maniacs” an adventure outfit operated from the property itself.

Come experience it for yourself ! (and bring your dogs along)

Feel free to use the verandah, garden and terrace.

We live in the same house, but with a separate entrance. Give us a call, anytime during your stay and let us know if you need anything.

Our place is inside the local village of Old Manali, away from the craziness of the main road.

You can walk down Manu Temple Road, and explore its many by-lanes packed with restaurants, chill cafes, and happening bars. There are quite a few shops selling basic amenities. If you need to go to New Manali (which is very commercial) you will have to take an auto. We can help you with sightseeing, walking routes, day trips, hikes, where to eat/party.

Closed shoes and a torch will make your walk to our place more comfortable, if you are arriving at night.

Hey hey !
So we are a couple who moved from Delhi to Manali, to get away from the traffic and pollution. We have set up our home, and have some room for you too !

Airbnb is prompting me to describe myself, so here goes...

Meha -
Travel, Travel and did I mention Travel. I feel that is the only point of being on this earth - to escape and to explore. I have been to more than 30 countries in the world (not bragging:) and have enjoyed every bit of it. My interests lie in local handicrafts, materials and objects. Oh and I design and make jewellery, under my brand - Baby Baniya. When you come here, you will find me cooped up in my jewellery workshop, or reading a book (Indian authors only), or playing with our black cocker spaniels - Tuko and Rango.

Utsav - (He does'nt want to describe himself, haha)
