Greenbank is a tranquil place with purpose created meditation facilities, a large willow labyrinth, an ancient well in a secluded grove with seating, 5 acres of landscaped grounds, walkways and a walled garden with a proliferation of flowers and herbs. It is within easy walking distance of Clones town centre and an early High Cross, ruins of an ancient Abbey, an impressive round tower and the sarcophagus of St Tiernach.
Ideally located to explore the counties of Monaghan, Cavan and Fermanagh.
Large country home with extensive peaceful grounds for rest and relaxation.
There are a number of lesser known ancient Celtic sites within a short drive and a number of parks, lakes, rivers, forests. We are very willing to host and transport guests for a few days who would like to explore these sites, such as the historic island of Devenish, the 'navel' of Ireland at Uisneach near Mullingar and the ancient site near Armagh: Emain Macha.
Outdoor nearby amenities include some Ireland's best coarse fishing, shooting, excellent 18 hole golf course, orienteering and a state of the art leisure centre with running track, gym and playing fields.
