Sleep under hand hewn rafters in a well-appointed room in the former hay loft of an 18th c. timber frame barn. Private bathroom for a few steps down the hall. Breakfast included.
Relax on the deck or meander down our wooded trail. Birds, rabbits, wild turkey and deer abound near all Saratoga County has to offer.

In the Saratoga Room, comfy, antique double bed has a featherbed below and duvet above, comfy settee with ample light for reading and working. Plenty of closet and drawer space. Sleeps two.
For a larger group, our Arizona Room sleeps two. Slightly smaller than the Saratoga Room, it offers cozy comfort down the hall with a touch of vintage desert charm.
If you have a fifth and sixth in your party, two camping cots with sleeping bags are available for older children or easy going adults.
Clean, private bathroom down the hall.
Drink your coffee on the back deck, read in the Adirondack chairs in the garden, take a walk on our trail through the backwoods.
A fire roars in winter. We do keep the house cooler for better sleeping.
We have air conditioning that we turn on when outside temps are in the 80s.

During the heating season we keep the house cooler for comfort and sleeping. A down comforter is provided to keep you toasty all night.
- Please no tap dancing or Irish clogging as the master bedroom is directly beneath you.
- Infants welcome if you bring a portable crib. The architecture that makes our home so lovely simultaneously makes it unsuitable for toddlers and young children. Which brings up. . .
- Steep wooden steps lead to the guest room—they are not sock-friendly.
- Passive female dog okay. (We have a same-sex aggressive male Jack Russell, plus two friendly females.)
I am a graduate student, writer, wife and mother of two. Ours is a quiet family who enjoys dogs, books and the outdoors. We are happy to provide rest and renewal to guests, with a dose of aggressive Russian hospitality. EAT! EAT!
