Hello, I am Swiss, from the capital - Bern. My wife is American, from Pennsylvania. We met on a bridge in Basel - she was hitchhiking with her friends in the 70's (that was what you did back then), and I was driving a VW bus with my friends (that was what you also did back then). We fell in love, and also fell in love with Zinal, where my wife worked as a waitress/ski bum in 1974. The village was captivating back then and is still just as charming. We rediscovered the village on a whim, and decided to purchase a home for the enjoyment of our family, and your families as well. The house is minutes walking from: indoor village swimming pool and spa, gondola, restaurants, bars, hiking and a little piece of the heaven that is Zinal. It is truly the best skiing in Switzerland - miles and miles of powder and back country skiing. No lift lines, affordable lift tickets, and the tres gentiles citizens of Zinal. It is a step back in time, located at the very end of the valley. The views from our home are amazing, and with 300 days of sun per year - you more than likely will have sun. We are happy to share with your our new home away from home. Leslie and Urs
