My old home is in the city center, very few cars drive through and the neighborhood is very quiet but lively because of the many osterie, wine bars, delicious local food shops, cultural venues and the iconic nightlife strips. Ideal base to explore the vibrant cultural life of Bologna, visiting friends and cooking for them a fine locally sourced dinner, or relax after a business trip.
No car access.
No transactions outside the AirBnB system are accepted. Tourist tax 2€/day/guest collected.
I lived here for 11 years and loved that place! The big and shiny living room and kitchen are just great to invite friends for dinner or for a movie, so I took care of a very well equipped kitchen. The bedrooms are on the backyard side and are very quiet and shady in the morning.

You can ask me tipps about bologna via the AirBnB app, or you can ask Federica and Angelo, who have a more actual feel of the city pulse. Both are very interested in the cultural life and in the food scene.
Lisa is a experienced tour guide for Bologna, Ravenna, Forli and Ferrara and can organize visits.
The flat is on the third floor, there is no lift so it is not ideal for people with limited mobility.
You do not need to buy water: close to the kitchen sink there is a reverse osmosis water purifier which filters tap water! Drink it pure, make tea or pasta with it: it is safe, tasty, avoids plastic waste, and to carry heavy bottle packs upstairs
Please do separate waste collection (experience some of the italian bureucratic complexity):
On Wednesday evening from 8 pm, you can put it out the front door (yes on the public street), the paper (blue bag) and the plastic bag (yellow). The bags are under the kitchen sink.
For organic, glass and remaining undifferentiated waste you can go to the bins on the street at all times (the nearest is via Frassinago corner via Ca 'Selvatica)
Please remember, never use two appliances, as the oven or hairdryer in the same time.
In case of power outage:
you have to turn off the appliances (always use one at a time)
The contactor is on the ground floor to the left of the entrance door, in an open cupboard
You have to raise the MALTONI lever
