This is my first time visiting Seoul and I'm amazed & feel very lucky to have stayed at Rosy's place. She is a very kind lady and helped me in a lot of ways when I was travelling alone to Seoul.
The day before I arrived in Incheon airport, Rosy gave me a rough instruction on how to get to her place. After I left Incheon airport and arrived at the nearby subway station, she voluntarily picked me up at the subway station exit and led me to her apartment. It was very thoughtful of her. As a foreign person who arrives in Seoul for the first time, and speak very little Korean, this is absolutely what I needed! How thoughtful of her! Better yet, she even volunteered to show me around the neighborhood and I get to know the area a bit first hand before wondering around! I thank her very much for this!
The room I stayed at was very clean, has a queen size bed (very comfy!), and also a massage chair. I also have my own private washroom (for facial washing & drying clothes), and get to share the shower/toilet washroom with another person. I also get to watch TV in my room, along with walk in closet, AC, hair dryer, etc. It made me feel very comfortable and very home friendly. The kitchen was a shared area, and it is very spacious. The room & hallway are clean and organized. Laundry machine is also available. By the way, there's Wi-Fi in the apartment as well. There's also gym downstairs which I didn't use, but I see it on the other side of lobby.
That's not all yet. What's amazing about this stay is that I cannot believe how convenient is it to reach for public/other transportation. I get to basement, walk for around 5 minutes or less, ta-da~ you have arrived at the subway station. If you need to get to Myeongdong (one of the most popular tourist areas), it's only 1 stop away. If I need to grab a cab, just walk downstairs. Need to grab a drink or have a meal, just go downstairs. There's tons of coffee shops, cafes, convenience stores (eg. 7-11, CU, GS25), restaurants around, so very convenient for people like me who like to buy snacks in the morning or at night. It's only 10 minute or less walk away from a grand department store named Shinsegae, which you can buy food/groceries, clothings, luxury brands, makeup, etc. in that department store alone. Awesome!
During my stay, when I have difficulties, Rosy is always attentive and even brought me to a local hair salon & pharmacy when I asked for help. She is a very kind lady and will definitely make your stay worthwhile as she did for me! :) I will definitely book this place again the next time I travel to Seoul!
