The place is a typical filipino house and very comfortable. It has amenities such as cable TV, Air condition and wi fi so you will not feel that you're in a remote area. Everything is available and the staff are helpful such as scheduling your boat trip for island tour. The price is very reasonable. We were even granted to have both the longganiza and fried bangus for our breakfast though only one viand should be served. The staff, Merle, is always available everytime we need some items. The place is good for family and small groups. It is clean and complete in amenities in terms of toiletries and coffee. I can recommend this place to my friends.

We enjoyed our time here and it is surely a surprise. It's like the owner thought of everything that you need! Breakfast was great too. When they realized that I'm travelling with Americans, they changed the breakfast on the second day and everybody loved it. We'll surely come back to this amazing place. Thank you for having us!

My stay at Alona's place was worth the 6-hours travel & price I paid. We didn't had to worry about anything because they got everything covered. The place is quiet and relaxing. The landscape is awesome, they have a grown bonsai :) the people in the neighborhood are nice and friendly. There were kids who played with my Scarlet -- they allow pets :) I would give the place 4 stars. The only thing I would suggest to improve on is the signages to make it more easy to find. They had signages but it would be better if they put one also just before entering the street from the main road. Awesome place! Awesome people! Awesome host!

Wow, what can we say but a great host with anything you could need. If your not a traditional traveler at first you may say where is this at I'm not traveling down there, but boy meet us at the road directed us in and set our whole trip up in 100 Islands. He was the best. As for lodging wow again number one!!! Friendly, safe and very well kept. The traditional house was all that and actually more because the traditional house may not have satellite TV, hot running water and a refrigerator. They picked up beer for us because we asked and when we got back from the island hopping a cold beer was great. Thanks for making our stay so great and stress free especially for my filipina wife who is always afraid of traveling with her American husband. 6 stars for this host and her hospitality. It's definitely more fun in the Philippines!!!!!

Alona was very prompt in replying to my queries. It was actually my mom, aunts and niece who I booked for an overnight stay at her place. My mom said that the place was clean and the pictures of the room on her page (which I showed to her early on) was very accurate. I was very much pleased that Alona had arranged for the island hopping both to be rented by my mom & company. Iearned from my mom that the place is not along the main road. But since Alona before hand informed me that there's a trike on stand by which my mom and company can rent, then it was really helpful.

OMG. One thing I loved was that Giant Bonsai Tree with the Kittens playing on it. So relaxing to look at especially to Cat-lovers like me :) I'm planning to make one myself at home. The front yard was definitely my favorite place. I even decided to stay up late just to enjoy the view of her quaint little garden. That aside, Ms. Alona was a great host and replies quickly. you can ask her a lot, almost like your personal local tour guide if you are still in your planning phase of the itinerary. She also takes the initiative to divide our planned meal for us when she learned that we downsized from 7 to 4pax. We saved a lot since we got all our meals covered from lunch to dinner and our free breakfast to. sad though that we couldn't cook anything other than instant there since the place is made of the traditional NIPA & BAMBOO. if sometime in the future a separate dirty kitchenette gets added in her place, this will really become a steal especially for pinoy family travellers. as for the location, let me just remind you guys that, if you are expecting a place that's at least a walking distance to the seaport, you may get disappointed since a 5minute ride by trike is still a 5minute ride. you won't be able to comeback to the port to inspect the rest of the port without a ride back. though trikes are easy to get and Ms. Alona has a relative that you can call. If you are bringing a car, you can park it in her place then hire their trike which may really be safer while you are away on the island. if I ever am able to comeback there, I will definitely be staying here again :)

I work Monday 'till Friday at a Power Plant. Saturday and Sunday is my off so I can be available to mingle with guest. However, I will always respect your privacy if you preferred to. A Mountaineer. A budget traveller, a Wanderlust. I planned my travels ahead of time, so by now I already have schedules until December 2017. A Movie addict but tend to forget the movie titles and the characters after watching. A story teller -real life story. Friendly and easy to get along with. Flexible.
I treat my guest as a Family or friends. So be comfortable and feel at HOME..

On Airbnb, my goal as a host is to bring the best ideas from all the places I've stayed at and apply them to my own Airbnb. I try to make it efficient and convenient for the travelers far from home and full of information for the tourist. I aim to run the best Airbnb in Alaminos City. :)

"What you sow is what you reap". GOLDEN RULE

The Host:
"I often wonder if you can read me. I'm curious if you do, shake my head if you don't. I agravitate to child-like souls, but demand nurturing of an aged soul. A free spirit, unless I choose to stay. If so, I must like you that much.

Everything about me is paradigm, I am a being of contradictions. The eternal student who always take lessons the hard way, not because I am stubborn, but simply because I have this relentless quest for the truth. I see life as a passage, an adventure, a stage where I act out my highest truths. I am strong in the broken places, and brave where I am deathly afraid. I smile while the heart cries, and move on like I never knew pain. You have to come closer to get to know me, otherwise, you never will."
