Highlanders School Camp is a solutions for life school focused on personal, familiar and group, integral development. The coaching (in Nature) is our main tool. We want to help you to improve your life, to define better goals in a step by step realistic plan.
Our land is a really good place to be in touch with yourself. You can come alone, in couple, in family or with friends.

You have acess to camping area, walterfalls, campfire, campkitchen, table with seats, and latrines. All our structures are handmade with rope and wood, inspired in the first pioneers life style.
Trolleys not allowed. Please bring backpacks.
This program is only for adults.
It is very important to respect the check-in hours because in a wild camping we don't control light, rain and cold. Please understand that the land has a different rhythm.
We will give you a set of rules when you arrive because we will be in Nature. We have latrines and waterfalls and not a conventional WC.

Since childhood Luís have been connected with the wilderness, and have learned with is father, retired in the special forces, how to live outdoors. At sixteen he begun to sistematicaly learn a japonese survival discipline called Kuru Hari. At twenty-three became a survival instructor, and since then he have been lessoning survival skills and skills for life.
Luís was a scout in AEP (Portuguese Scouts Association) integrated in the 93rd group of Sintra, as well as in the 8th Lambeth in London, England. He was part of the leading team of the 93rd group in Sintra, he worked with the national leading team as a leader of Campo Escola Parque Nacional de Escoteiros da Caparica (PNEC) and he founded as well as leaded the 211th group in Costa da Caparica, Portugal.
He took part in AJPAS – Associação de Jovens Promotores da Amadora Saudável (youth association for promoting a healthy town) and also worked with the Junta de Freguesia of Rio de Mouro as an Animador Sociocultural (leisure, social and cultural events manager) for Holiday Camps.
Since 2012 he has lived in Alto Minho and, together with Joana Mealha, is the founder of an educational project which gave birth to a theater play Esta Nossa, Terra (This land of ours), on the scene since June 25th in Viana do Castelo’s Public Library. Luís has endeavoured in various social interventions. The aim of these social actions is non-formal education, meaning to expand to approach issues such as social, economic and environmental sustainability.
