Spring is coming! Come watch the gardens come to life!

All races, ethnicities, religions, nationalities, and genders are welcome :)
June! Peonies! Irises! Lumens!
2 miles from Trumansburg, 8 miles from Ithaca! Less than 2 miles from Taughannock Falls and Gorge trail.
Trumansburg is a small town with an unusual variety of restaurants, from down home nothing fancy, to truly fine dining (farm to table, emphasizing local, in season vegetables, fish, grains, and meats), first class pizza, world class coffee, ice cream, even a small bowling alley with excellent gourmet food at reasonable prices and a full bar built from vintage bowling lanes. They're starting to call Trumansburg the Williamsburg of Ithaca!
Ithaca boasts all sorts of cultural activities, great music, theater, movies, dancing, and more restaurants per capita than New York City.
And there is Brownie's fruit and vegetable stand a short walk from the house. Get the freshest, best tasting corn at Brownie's!
And there are literally dozens of wineries and breweries within less than a half hour drive. The Fingerlakes rock!!!
Accès des voyageurs
You will have exclusive access to the whole 3 bedroom house, including the basement.
In addition to the the 3 bedrooms, you can choose to sleep on the enclosed porch, and wake up surrounded by green!
*** Note for cold weather months: the enclosed porch is not heated, so the house has room for 5 people to sleep, not 7. Although if you want to sleep 7, I can move the two twin mattresses into the living room.
The house is delightfully uncluttered and clean!
There is WiFi, but there is no TV. Ahhh, so quiet and peaceful.
All cotton sheets!

I live next door in a completely separate house, so will be readily available to help out however I can, including recommendations for restaurants, parks, etc. But, you will have your complete privacy unless you need me.
Sometimes I will be out of town, and sometimes my small, completely separate, house will also have guests.
There is WiFi, which works fine for most purposes, downloading emails, surfing the web, looking up restaurants, etc. Apparently it is not robust enough for gaming, huge downloads, etc. But there is a set of beautiful vintage poker chips, and interesting books, stars to see in the sky, fireflies - it's a good place to really unplug. But you are connected if you need to be!
- Musicians are welcome to play your instruments! Have fun, but no parties please. Also please respect the property and leave it the way you found it!
- If you feel the need to move mattresses into different rooms, please return them to their original space.
- In some cases, events may be OK. Please feel free to inquire.
- Accidents happen. If you break something, please let me know!

I lived in Brooklyn and Manhattan for many, many years, but now I live across from a cornfield in upstate New York, near Ithaca. It's very quiet and relaxing!
I am a bass clarinetist and saxophonist, traveling sometimes to perform. I've never liked hotels much, and prefer to stay in a real apartment. Most important to me is a comfortable bed and a good shower!
I have a grown, married daughter who has her own yoga school in Manhattan. She is also a Sanskrit scholar, and I am very proud of her.
I've spent a lot of time in Brazil, and speak fluent, though flawed, Portuguese. I also understand, and speak some French. I understand slow simple Spanish.
I have been enjoying Airbnb for a number of years as a guest, and now I am also enjoying being a host. I had no idea my guest house would be so busy so quickly! It's wonderful to meet such interesting, nice people, from all parts of the world. I enjoy trying my best to make my guests feel welcome and comfortable. Of course the surrounding beautiful parks, lakes, waterfalls, friendly people, great restaurants, local produce, ice cream, wineries, and breweries make my job a lot easier. It really is an exceptionally lovely area.
I look forward to staying with you.
