Come experience Texas Agritourism at it's finest on our family owned longhorn ranch in North Central Texas. Copperas Creek Ranch sits on just under 100 acres, has a lovely creek for fishing, or adventuring, the opportunity to interact with horses, longhorns, & donkeys, eat from on site organic gardens, and to get away from the city life and enjoy stunning views and sunsets just on the north side of Texas Hill Country. Our Ranch is half way between Sidney and May Texas.
Our ranch house has 3 large bedrooms with adjoining full baths, an eat in kitchen as well as a formal dining area as well as a huge den. The sofa in the den folds down to a serta queen mattress. We also have a wrap around porch with lots of seating for morning coffee or evening cookout (a charcoal grill is outside the kitchen door for you to use if you like-just bring your own charcoal - and marshmallows). This is a working ranch and we are excited about sharing our special getaway with you, however some of our dates will be blocked off while we are working cows, repairing fences, etc.
Accès des voyageurs
One of the owners will be there when you arrive to give you a tour or the place and answer any questions you might have.
If you use AT&T your cell signal will work just fine. Other providers are not as reliable/strong. We have 2 TVs in the Den and master bedroom that have Direct TV. Any movies rented during your stay will be charged to your bill. We have VERY limited internet. Additional charge will incur if you wish to access it.
Échanges avec les voyageurs
We will be available via phone/text or email 24/7! Upon booking we will provide our contact info.
This is a working ranch, so we are always working on house repairs, fence, etc. It is a 1 story ranch style but there are steps into the house as well as from kitchen to dining room. We are not ADA accessible. There is lots of wildlife as well as our livestock - so respect of their home is vital for your safety. NO GUNS or ATVs are allowed to be used during your stay. ATV would do damage to our hay fields and the noise is an issue if you wish to do any bird watching, etc.
No smoking. There is a $150 pet deposit due upon arrival. There is no way (yet) to add this to the options at booking so it seems to work best if you bring a check. I will hold on to it until after you check out, and if there is no damage, I will just tear up the check.
