Great apartment, would definitely stay there again. All photos are accurate. Location is close to Grand Central Market, subway line, cool restaurants, and local sites. Neighborhood is changing, didn't feel unsafe, but you want to be mindful. LOVED the floors and the general vibe of the apartment. Nicely-appointed, very clean, comfy bed. Perfect weekend.

The stay was great. A large stylish and functional place true to photos and super clean. What was best was the cavernous bedroom with blackout blinds and super comfy bed. I wound stay here again for sure.

Overall I had a nice stay. Some issues: Kitchen light did not work - I mentioned this to Eric and he said he would put in a service request but no one came. I just moved a lamp so no big deal but still an inconvenience to have a lamp in the way. HVAC and/or the thermostat did not appear to be working. The weather was nice during my stay so it was not a big issue, but a couple of times when I came in from outdoor activities it would have been nice to cool off with some AC. I didn't mention this to Eric since it was just a fleeting problem. I'm guessing the system just needed to be reset or something. I checked in at night and the hallway on our floor was COMPLETELY dark. Once the elevator door closed and there was no light from the elevator we couldn't see anything and had to use our phone light to unlock the door. Also the stairwell to the roofdeck had no working lights at all so it was pitch black even during the day so we didn't bother to use the roofdeck. Since these are common areas the responsibility lies with the building management and not with Eric. Anyway the hallway light was fixed after a day. I had to buy toilet paper and Kleenex but there was a Walgreens a block away. Turned out there was extra toilet paper in the closet and not under the sink as noted in the house notes, but the closet was messy and blocked by a vacuum cleaner, floor mats, and other extra stuff so I didn't see it until I had already purchased some. Other than that everything was fine and as described. I contacted Eric about the controller for the garage space and he was able to get it to me right away so no issues there. One note that may be helpful to future guests -- they are not kidding about the size of the garage, it is small and has numerous columns so it takes quite a bit of maneuvering to get your car out of the space and also to get out of the garage. Be sure to rent the absolute smallest car possible. Also, there is construction going on adjacent to the garage (at 4th and Broadway) so a couple of times we were blocked from entering by construction vehicles and/or equipment (there is only one way to enter the garage because there is a locked gate at the other end.) We parked in a nearby lot instead which was only $8 so again, no big deal, but if you are in a hurry, or if you happen to be trying to get OUT instead of IN this may become an (URL HIDDEN) least until they are done building the shiny new residential tower.

I found Eric’s apartment to be a great place to spend a few days. It is a nice apartment overall. A nice roof area with workout room, well stocked and some good restaurants around. The neighborhood is transitioning, so there can be some shady characters. It can be loud in the living room, but the bedroom is quiet. Overall a good place to stay.

I really enjoyed my stay. The apartment was roomy, clean and comfortable. Checkin and checkout was very easy, and Eric was always available for any questions. Great host!

Eric's place was great. Very modern apartment in DTLA located for easy access to downtown.
