Experience Lancaster County in the attached in-law suite of a Mennonite home. Feel the breeze as you enjoy a panoramic view of the Pequea Valley Amish farmland from our backyard. Or explore the many local attractions including Intercourse, Shady Maple Smorgasbord, September Farm, and Sight and Sound. And be prepared for farm country sights, sounds, and smells!
The attached suite includes a full kitchen with cookware, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, silverware, etc. The kitchen is stocked with breakfast supplies for the first morning including homemade treats (made by Mim), coffee, and tea. A sofa bed in the sitting area may be used for an extra guest ($10 extra), though we should know in advance it will be needed. The shady backyard has an excellent view of the valley. Hammocks are available by request. A door from the apartment opens into our family room so you may hear us when we are using the family room.
Accès des voyageurs
The primary guest entrance is separate from the main house. Our family room and laundry are immediately adjacent to the in-law suite so you are likely to hear some of our family sounds. A door into the family room can be locked from the apartment side. The bath has a door into the laundry, which guests may use to access the fire extinguisher in the garage.

We will be happy to answer questions about our community, things to do, and places to visit.
The apartment is heated and cooled with the central heating and air conditioning for the whole house. Since we sometimes use a wood stove to heat the main house the apartment has electric baseboard heat controlled by thermostats in the apartment. When the air conditioner is in use feel free to let us know if you are too hot or too cold in the apartment.
No smoking or vaping on the premises
