À propos de ce logement
Wonderful top floor near everything! This private and charming apartment is just west of a large wooded park, the zoo, and a large lake with bike and walking trails and boat rental. Just to the North are several blocks of shops, pubs and restaurants. Very walkable, but metro is a block away and heads directly to the core of downtown and the Pike Place Market, with easy connections to the stadiums and the waterfront. Done with the city? Sit out under 100 year old apple trees in the garden.
This house was built in the early 1900's, as were most of the other houses in the neighborhood. It has many large trees, lots of bird song and is relatively quiet for being in the city.

Just text if you have questions or problems! We will be available by phone always and in person often.
Because this apartment is on the top floor it looks out over other houses and is very private, but if stairs are a problem this won't be the place for you!
We consider ourselves very child friendly, but can't accommodate little ones all the time because of my husband's changing work schedule. Please ALWAYS let us know if you are traveling with a child, and we ask if the child is over 2 you include them in your # count. Also please note: sorry, but there is NO STOVE. The kitchen has a water kettle, coffee maker, fridge and microwave, also eating utensils and dishes, knives and such, but isn't set up for cooking.
Please note: The second bedroom is a small nook, 6' x 12', off of the kitchen. It is quite private but has a curtain for a doorway and is tucked under the roof line.
Also please know that this apartment is on the second floor and has stairs.

I'm a retired Amtrak conductor and my husband, Phil, is still working as an Amtrak engineer. We love our old house and spend a lot of time in the garden trying to keep our chickens from eating our vegetables and flowers. We love to travel near and far, and do Home Exchange as well as AirBnB.
