You’ll love our place because of the location, the ambiance, and the outdoor space. It's great for extended families (with kids). The bedrooms are upstairs and the common space downstairs -- it's easy for kids or others to sleep and others to still be socializing. The spiral staircase could be difficult for a very fraile elderly person. Fine for infants/kids. Our place is close to Prospect Park and Celebrate Brooklyn concerts. It's easy to get into Manhattan too on the F and R subway trains.
Please note that two of the rooms are "railroad" bedrooms - you must walk through the larger bedroom to get to the smaller bedroom. This has not been a problem for any previous guests, but we wanted to alert you in case that would be dissatisfying to you! I will return late each night and be out early the next morning. So you will have the place to yourselves except while you sleep!

You will have access to at least the 2 large bedrooms with Queen size beds and depending on the number of guests, also access to one smaller bedroom. Please let me knowhow many separate beds you need.
We have a sectional couch in the living room which someone could sleep on if the arrangement of beds isn't quite right. Additionally, an airmattress could be placed either in one of the bedrooms or downstairs in a cozy area behind the main living room.
In one of the master bedrooms is a square futon on the floor which my kids often sleep on! this can be great for smaller children that you want near you but no in your bed.
Let me know what your needs are!
I'm from northern California and went to UC Berkeley. I love the cultural opportunities in New York City, especially the outdoor concerts, theatre, and movies during the summer months.
