We are located in a cozy residential area about 600m from the ocean (Parede Beach) on Lisbon's gorgeous coast and 750m from Carcavelos Beach, within walking distance of several restaurants and cafes, and about a 800m walk from Parede train station (on the train line from Lisbon to Cascais). Lisbon is a 25-min train ride and Cascais is just 11-min. The room is private, airy, bright and very spacious, opening onto a terrace where guests can have coffee/tea and some reading time on a rocking chair.
We have a cozy two-bedroom apartment with ocean views (in the horizon ...) that we share with our five Brazilian cats. Non cat/animal folks need not apply :-)

I am a Lonely Planet author and just recently updated the Lisbon and Cascais areas so I'm available for any recommendations and tips during your stay. We both work from home so we will be available most of the time for tips and suggestions, as well as taxi calls, and various other tips guests may need.
We are located on the 3rd floor of a small 3-floor quiet residential building but there is no elevator, so keep that in mind when considering us for your stay, in case you have a heavy big bag ;-)
- We only ask that you respect our home as you would your own. No smoking. No drugs. No outside overnight guests who are not part of the reservation. No excessive drinking or loud music or any other disrespectful behavior towards us as hosts or our neighbors. We also request no same-day reservations - we need some notice to prepare the room as we use it ourselves when there are no bookings.
We are an open-minded American-Brazilian couple, a travel journalist/Lonely Planet author and an ecotourism guide, who love travel, animals (3 cats here), wine, fine food and living the good life. Kevin is American, a travel/entertainment journalist who has lived in Portugal since 2015 after seven years in Brazil; I'm in love with food, wine, hop-heavy IPAs and guiding people to best that Lisboa and Cascais have to offer. For more about me, search "Kevin Raub" on your favorite search engine for my personal website. Adriana is Brazilian and has been helping tourists visit the UNESCO paradise of Fernando de Noronha in Brazil for over a 15 years. For more on her here, search "Your Way Noronha" for her personal web site.
