À propos de ce logement
Beautiful, historic home, centrally located in the Adirondack village of Saranac Lake, NY. Shared bath, continental breakfast included. 10 minute walk to galleries, restaurants and unique shopping. Hiking, biking and boating in the surrounding mountains and lakes. Gay-friendly! There are two Bernese Mountain dogs on the premises, we are very careful to keep them away from guests who are not comfortable with large dogs.
All 3 guest rooms are on the second floor, they share a bath on that floor with access to a half bath on the first floor. Breakfast is provided, also free WIFI. All rooms have a 2.4 cu. ft. Energy Star refrigerator and a quiet 6000btu window air conditioner. The house is set back from the main road on a quiet, wooded lot. There is off street parking to safely leave your car to stroll downtown or across the street to the boat launch.
Accès des voyageurs
Guests are welcome to relax by the pellet stove, play games on the first floor sunporch, or visit on the front porch in the Adirondack chairs. The Berneses Mt. Dogs, Maddie and Sophie are always with Peter or Kathleen, you will never be alone with them, even though they are really good girls.
Échanges avec les voyageurs
We usually visit during breakfast or in the evening out on the porch. The biggest part of my hosting involves connecting guests with hiking and paddling adventures in the area.
I can provide gluten free and/or dairy free or vegan baked goods for breakfast with previous notice.
We are only allowed to host two adults per room. We have found that 6 adults sharing the 1.5 baths is just right.
