My place is in the beautiful Borneo Highlands rainforest. You’ll love relaxing there, after a trip to see Orangutans, or a longhouse, or a jungle trek, or kayaking. Do some fishing, reading, socializing. Find out the real Sarawak by sampling local cuisine (vegetarian dishes available) and talking to the people here. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families with kids).
This is an ideal place to explore the environment and then relax in reasonable comfort at reasonable prices.
The guesthouse is fenced off, at the back of our .75 acre plot, set into the cool hillside.

Help is always near! We can book kayaking or trekking trips, or take you to local landmarks in a Toyota Fortuna (with aircon, seating 7) With notice, cooked evening meals can be arranged. Breakfast is free, on a help yourself basis.
We have two outdoor dogs. They are well-trained and friendly, and the guesthouse is fenced off from their area. Please do not feed them! (But you can save food scraps and bones for their set feeding time.)
An honesty policy operates for food & drink items on sale in the kitchen.
Ditto books: bring one, take two; or take one to read on your return journey.
- Please smoke outside. Children over 7 should be ok, but note that our ponds are not fenced off.
- Please be considerate of other guests. They may want to sleep!
Roger is a much-traveled Englishman, and his wife Rendai is a Dayak. We are retired, so can devote plenty of time to making sure your stay is the best. Fresh air, music, books, conversation and my wife are things that make my life even more enjoyable. Rendai was a nurse, and has a way of making everyone feel at home.
