Welcome to our LandfillFree AirBnb. Our community house operates on a sustainable structure and towards a goal of being completely zero waste by 2018. Our theory is that we can also operate as an ethically profitable AirBnb, and we look forward to hosting you in this experimental design.
There are two separate listings. Yours is the private room with a king bed on the left downstairs.
This is a futon in a nook off of our downstairs living area. Our house is a warm and safe environment for travellers, and traffic is limited during quiet hours. The area is open and subject to light traffic.
The split entry home allows for great interaction among owner, caretaker, and guests. The entire downstairs is yours for living, including the den, outside fire pit, community garden and workspace area. Wifi is free and included in pricing. The downstairs bathroom has a full bath and shower and is shared among all AirBnb guests.
Our quiet hours are from 10pm to 6am. Working hours are 9am to 5pm. Guests are invited to engage as a community through all of the home during non-quiet hours, but are asked to be considerate of working hours. We insist that you do not bring alcohol onto the premises or return obviously intoxicated. Upstairs area is restricted during quiet hours.
We look forward to your stay in our Landfillfree AirBnb. As a guest you are an important part to our sustainability, and we appreciate your contribution. Thank you for helping us encourage a sustainable future.

Échanges avec les voyageurs
I will be on travel throughout May and June, but Leigh Ann or Shelly who live upstairs will typically be around to greet you. Neighbors Will and Jodi are serving as caretakers and will also be available to accommodate you during your stay.
Please use the compost under the kitchen sink for compostables, and the dining room hatch for recyclables. This is a landfill-free home.
