Our home is close to Ballycroy National Park, Ballycroy Dark Sky Park, The Wild Atlantic Way, The Greenway Cycling, Doona Beach, Walking, The Bangor Trail. The views here are fantastic with The Atlantic Ocean and mountains. Our house is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families (with children). We are ideally situated between Bangor and Mulranny . Unfortunately there is no public transport and also there are no restaurants within 20km. There is 1 pub and 1 grocery/petrol 7 min drive.
The accommodation comprises of one large bedroom with a double and single bed. We could offer a mattress for more than one child. The bedroom is off the really comfortable, cozy lounge, dining room and bathroom, all for your own private use.
There is a microwave, a single induction hob, a small oven/grill, a kettle and a toaster for your convenience in the dining room and a continental breakfast is provided.
Washer and dryer available.

We are available for any queries including help with planning your stay, areas of interest, places to eat, cinemas etc. Walking, surfing, hill climbing, fishing trips and horse riding and indoor pursuits for wet days.
We are situated on the Atlantic coast of Ireland with fantastic views all around. This is a very quiet area within Ballycroy National Park which is home to the Ballycroy Dark Sky Park.
There is no public transport in Ballycroy but private buses run to Castlebar, Ballina, Westport and Mulranny. We can pick guests up from the airport and take them to places of interest. There are also 2 excellent taxi firms locally.
If guests wish, an evening meal and packed lunches can be provided. For an evening meal please ask for menu and order before arrival, for packed lunches please order on arrival thankyou.

My hobbies include music, painting and quilting. I can organise classes in patchwork quilting, acrylic painting on stones and lessons on the piano and accordion.
My husband and I enjoy travel and cooking.
We also have a keen interest in our local heritage and my husband, as an amateur photographer, could show you places of interest for photography.
