A simple & unique 3 bedroom home in a gorgeous natural setting overlooking the city, which is only 5 minutes away by transport. Big, beautiful, and surrounded by flowering plants & tropical fruit trees in one acre of lush hillside (a hot spot for bird watching!) Only 1 mile from the beach, you’re unlikely to find a villa with more spectacular views. Our comfortable home sleeps six in comfort but is just as cosy for two. Get a taste of real St Lucian community life by booking a stay here.
Staying at this gorgeous, wheel-chair friendly villa with probably the most stunning views on the island means that you can bring your family and friends to the best value-for-money holiday home in the entire Caribbean and you won't break the bank! And for wheel-chair users there is a ramp to the entrance, wide doors and corridors, grab-bars and easy to use showers. Many guests say that our fantastic panoramic views could have them spending their entire vacation (armed with a cocktail or three) on our spacious veranda. And for me, my husband and family, we all adore our villa Frangipani and think it is the most beautiful place in the world.
Situated on a hill, the villa attracts every cross current of cool air so there is no need for air conditioning, but each bedroom is equipped with an electric fan. The spacious master bedroom (17ft x 14ft) has a king-size bed, plus a sturdy folding single bed (for a child). There are two further double bedrooms (12ft x 12ft), one with a double bed, and the other with two single beds. There are two bathrooms, one en-suite to the master bedroom and one between the double bedrooms (showers only). There is also a wooden enclosed shower in the garden. The huge living-room (25ft x 25ft) has a breakfast bar, and is furnished with two four-seater settees, two matching armchairs and other comfortable seating, and there are pretty patterned straw mats on the stained wooden floor.
There is satellite/cable television, stereo system with radio, a telephone, and internet connection. The living-room opens out onto a magnificent veranda (15ft x 44ft) with breathtaking views all around. The veranda has a solid round pine table which seats up to 12, also a hammock, two teak loungers, and two rocking chairs for further relaxation and comfort. The kitchen comes equipped with a large American refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, oven, and all you'll need for self catering. (But if you want our splendid chef Julie to prepare your meals, all you do is ask her!). There is a spacious utility room with a washing machine, electric iron, sink and washing line. Bedclothes are changed once a week, and towels when you want them. The villa is thoroughly cleaned before you arrive, and mid stay if you require it.
Accès des voyageurs
The whole villa and gardens are available to guests.
The small apartment below the villa is usually locked, but sometimes occupied by the owner and/or some members of her family on holiday from the United Kingdom. However, Frangipani guests may use the flat's patio (which contains a clothes-line at the far end) for drying their personal laundry in the open air.
Guests are welcome to the fruit from the garden when in season, and if you like coconuts I suggest you ask the gardener to pick some for you. Everything's so easy.

My husband and I live in London, United Kingdom. My extended family members Julie and her daughter Keisha are the villa's managers, they will meet and greet and generally keep an eye on guests during their stay at the villa. Julie and Keisha conveniently live just across the road from the villa. If guests would like Julie to cook for them, they should simply ask. She comes from a long line of super cooks and her food is beyond yummy! My niece Angelique cleans the villa, she also lives within shouting distance and is available to guests during the evenings. In our small and tight-knit community you will be immersed in the warm-hearted culture of Saint Lucia, and although the neighbours are nice and helpful, they are not at all intrusive to the privacy of our guests.
There is an extremely handy convenient corner shop very near the villa Frangipani called T&P Mini-Mart - tiny but bursting at the seams with almost anything you would need. At T&P you will get a real taste of community life on the hill – during the evenings and week-ends some residents congregate here in party spirit for a drink or three, a game of cards, dominos, jokes - and gossip!
For more extensive supermarket shopping you should go to the Massy stores; the one in town, or the one in La Clery, or to another Massy store in Gablewood's Mall (opposite Sandals beach resort), or at their bigger premises in Rodney Bay.
Please arm the intruder alarm system on leaving the house unattended and on going to bed.
Cheers! That's me Dylyn, with my husband Christopher. We live in London, England, and I manage the villa which is co-owned by me and other members of my family. Some of my extended St Lucian family members who reside on the island and who live nearby, look after the villa and our guests. My husband (a retired lawyer) and I (a retired PA) love travel, we adore entertaining, reading and music, and strive to be content and happy for ourselves and for our loved ones.
